Job Description
■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing Group aims to become the No. 1 brand most loved by customers worldwide, serving as the “clothing infrastructure” essential to comfortable daily lives for everyone.
As the primary arena for business and operations shifts to the digital space, there is an urgent need to establish a global security framework for system development and operations.
For this position, we are seeking someone who can thoroughly assess our information systems—their environment, components, and actual operations—to identify all risks without omission, implement optimal security controls in consultation with our Information Systems Department and business units, and lead the strengthening of global information system security.
■ Department Overview
The Information Security Office, to which you will be assigned, is tasked with protecting our customers’ valuable personal information and all of our company’s confidential information. It establishes and operates a system for developing global security policies, providing training, and continuously monitoring whether these policies are being properly implemented and enforced.
The Information Security Office operates not only in Japan but across all countries where we do business globally, with a highly diverse organizational structure. With Japan—our global headquarters—serving as the command center, the office consistently handles policy formulation, training, risk assessment, monitoring, and improvement regarding security risks that could impact global business operations.
Rather than focusing on local optimization, we take a holistic view of information security measures, devise optimal strategies for all global operations, and—while engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders, business functions, and technologies—promote the introduction and operation of technologies to strengthen security measures, as well as the implementation of risk mitigation strategies for systems.
■Job Description
The following are examples of specific job responsibilities. Depending on your strengths and preferences, you will be responsible for multiple areas from the list below.
・Implementation and continuous improvement of cybersecurity technologies (WAF, AntiBot, Email/Web/Endpoint security measures, etc.)
・Implementation and continuous improvement of internal threat prevention solutions (DLP, CASB, Data Security, etc.)
・Building and managing log monitoring infrastructure, and developing monitoring content
・Planning and execution of security assessments and cyber attack simulations
・Security incident response
・Other information security-related tasks for the company’s risk management
*The Job Description is subject to change within the scope of duties related to each department of the headquarters due to department transfers or organizational changes.
■ Career Path
In addition to advancing your career as an information security specialist, there is active personnel exchange with the Information Systems Department (Digital Business Transformation Services Department), allowing you to broaden your career horizons based on your abilities, aptitudes, and motivation. There are also opportunities to work not only in Japan but also at overseas locations.
