For this position, we are seeking individuals who, with engineering as their foundation, will go beyond simply implementing equipment to actively tackle business and management challenges, and who will ultimately support our global business expansion.

Department Overview

As the Group aims to grow from a scale of 3 trillion yen to 10 trillion yen, the Global Supply Chain Management Department is an organization that designs and evolves the supply chain—which underpins business growth—as a core component of our management. Our mission is to continue delivering world-class logistics seamlessly and reliably, even as the volume of goods continues to increase.
Through hands-on engineering work—including the design, launch, stable operation, and advancement of automated warehouses in large-scale facilities—we place a strong emphasis on going beyond mere equipment implementation. We focus on structurally analyzing business and management challenges, resolving them through systematic solutions, and driving business growth.

Job Description

Against the backdrop of the need for more advanced logistics capabilities driven by the expansion of our overseas sales, our automated warehouses continue to evolve worldwide by incorporating the latest automation technologies. In this position, drawing on your technical expertise, you will directly address business and management challenges and lead the construction of world-class logistics warehouses through the following responsibilities:

• Driving solutions to challenges related to automated warehouse equipment on a global scale
• Collaborating with equipment vendors and relevant internal departments to execute engineering initiatives for technical improvements to automated warehouse equipment and the implementation of new automation systems
• Providing technical support from an engineering perspective during the construction and launch of new automated warehouses, including global projects, and promoting warehouse designs that support stable operations and business growth
• Developing medium- to long-term maintenance plans based on the premise of stable equipment operation, and consistently driving the process from investment and budget planning to the design and execution of maintenance systems
• Improve equipment reliability by responding to equipment malfunctions and conducting root cause analyses, as well as formulating and implementing corrective measures

Starting with hands-on engineering work at domestic automated warehouses, you will leverage your technical expertise to tackle business and management challenges and contribute to the transformation of the entire supply chain. In the future, you will have opportunities to take on challenges such as launching new automated warehouses—including those overseas—and advancing the overall logistics infrastructure.
After joining the company, we expect you to build on your experience at domestic warehouses to expand your role into one that involves making decisions across a single or multiple locations, thereby developing your career beyond engineering into a role that drives business growth.

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience proactively driving projects by explaining challenges and solutions to stakeholders based on technical expertise, while working to build consensus
• Candidates with an engineering background (electrical or mechanical—either is acceptable) who have addressed or are interested in tackling management and business challenges

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in formulating and executing maintenance plans, budget plans, and staffing plans to ensure the stable operation of equipment
• A willingness to engage with English at a level that does not pose a barrier to learning

Annual Salary

• Annual Salary Range: 6–12 million yen (Monthly Salary: 390,000–640,000 yen)
• Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
• Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
• Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)

*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

Days Off and Leave

Two days off per week (national holidays are considered workdays). Annual paid leave, special leave (including leave for weddings and bereavement), and childcare and family care leave programs, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which you belong).
* Days off are on a rotating basis and determined by the shift schedule. However, days off may be changed due to operational needs
