Job Description

Recruitment Background
Fast Retailing is pursuing the ultimate supply chain transformation on a global scale, based on the concept of the Ariake Project, which is a company-wide reform to "make, transport, and sell what customers want, when they want it, and in the quantities they want it". To achieve this, we need to build an optimal structure and network throughout our global supply chain, strengthen strategic partnerships, and constantly improve and utilize all logistics infrastructure, including the introduction of the world's most advanced automated warehouses.
Currently, we have automated warehouses all over the world, and we are looking for someone to lead the warehouse management to realize the growth of our EC business globally.

Outline of the department
We are looking for a person who can lead the management of our warehouses to realize the growth of our global e-commerce business. The Global Supply Chain Management Department, to which you will be assigned, is working to realize this goal by improving the sophistication and efficiency of the integrated supply chain from production plants to stores to customers. In addition to examining flexible delivery methods, optimizing global delivery routes, and improving the efficiency of trade procedures, the department is also promoting reforms in all areas of logistics, including the construction and in-house operation of world-class logistics service bases, such as automated warehouses in Ariake, Tokyo; Shiohama, Ichikawa in Chiba; and Ibaraki in Osaka.

■ Job Description
As the Fast Retailing Group aims to triple its global business growth from the current 3 trillion yen to 10 trillion yen, it is essential to achieve both an increase in the number of items handled and world-class logistics without delay. Our automated warehouses are constantly evolving with the introduction of new automated equipment around the world, and through the following tasks, you will lead the creation of new, world-class warehouses that will never stop.

Planning and executing maintenance plans, budget plans, and personnel plans to ensure stable operation of the equipment.
Trouble recovery, analysis of causes, and planning and implementation of remedial measures
Implementing advanced technologies for equipment improvement, equipment installation, and predictive maintenance to improve maintenance and productivity, such as extending service life.
Promote operations and improvement activities involving equipment vendors and related departments
Establishment of rules, standardization and production of applications related to business operations
Support for overseas offices, standardization and deployment of operations
Logistics transformation work that is not bound by existing logistics methods (e.g., use of new technologies, automation of warehouse operations, and promotion of transformation of working styles of store and warehouse staff).

We may ask you to discover issues by entering into actual operations, and to promote hands-on operations when introducing new logistics. Therefore, you will be required to work shifts, including night shifts, several times a year during sales periods or when major new products are being sold.

Career Path
In addition to the reform of the automated warehouses in Japan, you will have the opportunity to lead the reform of the Fast Retailing Group's global logistics operations as a whole.
Based on your experience in domestic warehousing, you will have opportunities for career advancement to become a warehouse manager, an area manager overseeing multiple warehouses, or a global manager overseeing both domestic and international operations. We also offer a wide range of career paths that go beyond engineering work, such as transformation of warehouse operations and delivery, launch of new automated warehouses including overseas, and promotion of data utilization.
