As the primary arena for business and operations shifts to the digital space, there is an urgent need to establish a global security framework for system development and operations.
For this position, we are seeking someone who can lead the strengthening of global information system security by verifying the actual conditions, physical assets, and realities of our information systems on-site to identify risks without omission, and implementing optimal security controls in consultation with our Information Systems Department and business divisions.

Department Overview

The Information Security Office, to which you will be assigned, is tasked with protecting our customers’ valuable personal information and all confidential company information. It establishes and operates a system for creating global security policies, providing training, and continuously monitoring whether these policies are being properly implemented and enforced.
The Information Security Office operates not only in Japan but across all countries where we do business globally, with a highly diverse organizational structure. With Japan—our global headquarters—serving as the command center, the office consistently handles policy formulation, training, risk assessment, monitoring, and improvement regarding security risks that could impact global business operations.
Rather than focusing on partial optimization, we take a holistic view of information security measures, devise optimal strategies for all global operations, and—while engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders, business functions, and technologies—promote the introduction and operation of technologies to strengthen security measures, as well as the implementation of risk mitigation strategies for systems.

Job Description

• Implementing the secure software development lifecycle in various system development projects
• Identifying risks and evaluating and proposing security controls for various system development projects
• Formulating and reviewing risk assessment frameworks, and establishing assessment processes
• Conducting training on rules and evaluation methods related to risk assessment
• Formulating and reviewing risk assessment tools
• Verifying compliance with PCI/DSS and national laws and regulations, and implementing corrective actions
• Global implementation of the above measures
• Other information security-related duties as required by the company

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in the design, development, and operation of IT systems (at least 3 years of hands-on practical experience performing these tasks independently)
• Ability to independently identify challenges and risks, and resolve them with a sense of ownership while engaging others
• Communication skills to drive projects forward by communicating, building consensus, and reconciling interests with a diverse range of stakeholders who differ in their roles, positions, and perspectives
• Business-level English proficiency (ability to use English both verbally and in writing)

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in threat modeling
• Understanding of compliance requirements such as PCI DSS and GDPR
• Information security certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, SANS GIAC, etc.)

Annual Salary

• Annual Salary Range: 8–15 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000–830,000 yen)
• Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
• Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
• Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)

*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.
