Background of Recruitment
Fast Retailing Group (FR) is reforming its entire supply chain, from material procurement, planning, and design to production and sales, with the aim of becoming an "information manufacturing retailer," a new industry unlike any other in the world.
In order to respond immediately to accelerated business growth and overseas expansion, it is imperative to build a management foundation in the areas of finance and accounting that can flexibly respond to and lead business transformation, and we are restructuring the very nature of our finance operations and organization. We are looking for a person who can promote the efficiency and standardization of global finance operations and the fundamental transformation of the finance organization and function itself by making maximum use of digital technology.
Outline of the department
The Global Finance Service area, to which you will be assigned, is responsible for the planning, promotion, implementation, operation, and maintenance of global projects such as the transformation of the FR Group's overall finance and accounting operations and the introduction of new systems. We launch transformation projects starting from issues in the finance area, restructure and standardize global business processes with solutions optimized for the business objectives and the FR Group, and aim to achieve sophistication and efficiency in finance operations around the world.
■ Job Description
The successful candidate will lead a fundamental transformation project of accounting operations utilizing digital technology in accounting, finance, and corporate planning for the entire global business. Specifically, the following is envisioned
Discover and organize issues in accounting, finance, or corporate planning, or across departments.
Planning and promotion of accounting transformation projects derived from the issues discovered, and leading change management on a global basis
Propose and test finance operations and system configuration values for new business and EC business schemes, and liaise with finance departments in each country.
Planning of project plan for system function implementation, analysis of current business, design of To-Be business, compilation of business requirements and incorporation into system requirements, progress management of various tests, and lead of user acceptance tests.

In addition to the accounting, finance, business planning, taxation, and purchasing management operations within the finance department, there are also deep relationships with front-line operations such as stores and e-commerce, as well as IT. In the future, there is a possibility of transfer to other finance teams or overseas assignment.
