Job Description
Background of Recruitment
Fast Retailing Group is transforming itself to create a "new industry" based on the concept of "LifeWear" that goes beyond the boundaries of conventional industries. GU is the second largest brand in the Fast Retailing Group after UNIQLO, and is operated with the goal of energizing people everywhere through the power of fashion. Now that g.u. is gaining acceptance as a brand loved around the world by offering global must-haves with Japanese quality and low prices, we are aiming to accelerate global growth by opening a store in New York in October 2022 and establishing a new merchandise headquarters in New York in September 2023, which will play a key role in product creation. Under the theme of "GO GLOBAL," GU is aiming to become a full-fledged global fashion brand, and we are looking for someone who can strengthen marketing communication, enhance the brand presence, and promote business growth together.
■Department Overview
The Global Marketing Department consists of five teams: Product Marketing Team, Social Marketing Team, Creative Team, PR Team, and Store Marketing Team. The department is involved in the entire process from product planning and development to delivery to the customer, from strategy formulation to execution of measures, all in a single integrated manner. The mission of the Creative Team, to which you will be assigned, is to lead content development from both the brand and customer perspectives in order to achieve diversification and sophistication in the delivery of information to customers. This is an extremely global and challenging environment where you will collaborate with top-notch external creators from all over the world, and the content you develop will be deployed around the world.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for building GU's brand image and customer acquisition strategy for all media, including websites, in-store promotional materials, key visual creation, and editorial content production, while collaborating with internal and external parties. Specifically
Formulate a communication plan, create concepts for each creative to realize the plan, and formulate and execute specific direction.
Management of creative guidelines
Develop and produce fashion creative content in collaboration with external partners.
Provide detailed direction and make decisions at photo shoots.
Manage all aspects of the content production process, including internal and external collaboration, scheduling, and cost management.
