We are looking for a candidate for a department manager who can create sales floor concepts on a global scale and at a global level, and who can take charge of sales floor transformation from a VMD perspective as we expand our overseas store openings.

Department Overview
The In store merchandising (IMD) department, to which you will be assigned, aims to make as many customers as possible enjoy fashion by creating sales areas that convey our brand message in stores, which are the direct points of contact with our customers.
The IMD team consists of two teams: the VMD team, which focuses on styling to create a sales floor where customers can enjoy new discoveries and trendy fashions, leading to purchases; and the merchandise layout team, which strategically plans sales floor layout and product placement to make the sales floor fresh, fun, and easy to shop at. The VMD team consists of two teams: the Merchandise Layout Team and the Merchandise Layout Team. This position is for the VMD team.

■Job Description
This position will be responsible for leading the production of sales areas that express the GU brand in all countries and regions in preparation for further global expansion in the future.
You will lead the creation of sales areas that express the GU brand, while collaborating across departments such as product planning, marketing, sales, and stores, as well as training team members and providing feedback.
Create mannequin styling and sales floor presentation for all stores, including new stores and flagship stores, both in Japan and overseas, on a monthly and weekly basis.
Styling of torsos to match the layout and concept of each sales floor
Creation of guidelines for store torso styling
Planning of promotional materials such as in-store sales promotion materials
Team management: Create an organization to realize GU's ideal VMD and promote the development of human resources who can work at a global level.

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
At least 5 years of experience as a VMD in planning and creating sales space for a brand.
