Job Description
Mission
With the mission of "We Deliver LifeWear" and "Store Development Creates Sales and Profit Growth," the Store Development Department is responsible for developing business strategies for the growth of Fast Retailing's group brands such as UNIQLO, GU, PLST, and Theory, while expanding the store network globally. The Store Development Department is responsible for the expansion of Fast Retailing's global store network while developing business strategies for the growth of Fast Retailing Group brands such as UNIQLO, GU, PLST, and Theory. By staying close to the daily lives of our customers and reflecting the voices of our customers and store staff, we create stores and form a store network that penetrates into their living areas, bringing clothes to people everywhere, enriching their lives and improving local communities around the world.
■Background of Recruitment
The Fast Retailing Group is expanding its business with the aim of becoming the world's No. 1 information-dissemination manufacturing retailer. While accelerating the opening of new stores globally, we are seeking individuals who can take on the important mission of strategically implementing appropriate and effective investment, maintenance and management operations to maximize the utilization of existing store real estate in Japan. In the future, you will be responsible for a wide range of business areas, including overseas and group companies, with the aim of becoming a leader of the organization. The position will be responsible for building and maintaining good relationships with owners and lessors of existing stores, and improving customer satisfaction and branding through the use of store real estate.
■Job Description
Optimize the store real estate portfolio of approximately 1,200 stores (UNIQLO and g.u.) in Japan and develop investment and management plans for individual stores.
Negotiate store contract terms and investment and repair plans
Negotiations on store contract terms, investments, and repairs.
Restoration and surrender of stores upon store closure.
Negotiations with owners and lessors on sales promotions to increase and improve sales of existing stores
Creation of new business opportunities and development of new store opening opportunities by utilizing human network of owners, lessors, etc.
Standardization and streamlining of operations (establishment of business processes, manuals, and systems)
