Job Description
Background
GU is Fast Retailing Group's second largest brand. The company operates its business under the brand message "YOUR FREEDOM" and its raison d'être is to empower people everywhere through the power of fashion. Under the theme of "GO GLOBAL," we are working to become a global fashion brand by opening our first store in New York in October 2022 and establishing a new product headquarters in New York in September 2023, which will play a key role in product creation. We are looking for a person who can lead the further evolution of EC in Japan and overseas.
■Department Overview
The Japan Digital Commerce Department, to which you will be assigned, manages GU's EC site/application, aiming to realize sustainable and discontinuous growth of the EC business, which is the growth engine of the business. The site management team in this position is responsible for planning, designing, producing, and operating the EC site/application, and will promote the project in cooperation with the marketing department, merchandisers, and other departments.
■ Job Description
You will lead the development of content and functionality for GU's e-commerce site/application to enable customers to enjoy a new purchasing experience. Specifically, based on GU's company-wide business plan, you will design UI/UX to create and operate online content with various solutions such as omni-channel and new payment methods, with the aim of delivering the latest fashion information to customers and enabling them to enjoy shopping on a site that is easy to select and easy to buy. We build websites that provide optimal purchasing experience at optimal touch points.
Planning, designing, and directing the production of online content for e-commerce sites and applications
Lead growth hacks such as UIUX improvement and new feature development
Creation of UX scenarios, site structure design, and wireframe production
Planning, implementation, and operation of next-generation services
Project progress management
Access analysis and report creation, etc.

At least 2 years of experience in EC site/application production/operation or consulting
Business English proficiency (TOEIC score of 700 or above)
Experience, skills, and abilities that are welcome
Experience in overseas business/service development
Knowledge/experience in web marketing and advertising operations
Experience in planning, implementation, and operation of operational efficiency improvement and automation

■Annual Salary
Annual salary range: 7.84-12.96 million yen (monthly salary: 490,000-720,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with company regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's business performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
