Department Overview
The Global Digital Marketing Department drives the evolution of digital marketing on a global scale to improve customer satisfaction and deliver new shopping experiences by providing each customer with the most relevant information. The department consists of three teams: the “Global Business Development Team,” the “Social Media Marketing Team,” and the “Customer Acquisition and CRM Team.” This position is intended for assignment to the “Customer Acquisition and CRM Team.”Job Responsibilities
The Data Infrastructure Team, to which you will be assigned, collaborates with the IT division’s Digital Transformation Team and the department at the U.S. headquarters responsible for leveraging the latest technologies in Europe and the U.S. and promoting partnerships with third-party companies, with the goal of building and stably operating a world-class digital marketing infrastructure.In this position, you will lead and manage projects while collaborating with key personnel at GHQ—who are responsible for driving customer acquisition across all FR Group brands, channels, and countries—as well as with project leaders for company-wide initiatives.Your specific initial assignment will be determined through ongoing discussions during the selection process, based on your experience and career aspirations, but you are expected to work on the following areas:
(1) Planning and leading digital marketing system initiatives necessary for business growth during the company’s fourth founding phase
- Working with solutions in the MarTech domain—such as DMP, CDP, MA, BI, and AI—to propose new projects, secure budgets, and launch initiatives that drive company-wide operational transformation and growth.You will monitor and control project progress; formulate project plans; identify challenges; conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses; explore strategic directions based on hypotheses; procure external resources and negotiate with business partners; and coordinate with internal teams and external partners while managing staff.
- In collaboration with other business departments and overseas divisions such as the U.S., lead and manage projects that implement cutting-edge technologies and drive results in the rapidly evolving fields of e-commerce and digital marketing—including customer acquisition and nurturing; retention efforts through the company’s owned media rather than external paid advertising; promoting the use of e-commerce and mobile apps while improving purchase conversion rates and average order value; and reducing costs and enhancing efficiency in the production and management of content and assets used for marketing communications.
- In conjunction with the overhaul of e-commerce infrastructure in existing markets or the implementation of e-commerce infrastructure accompanying business expansion into new countries, lead and manage projects—in collaboration with channel managers and other departments—to support the introduction and operational stabilization of digital marketing infrastructure as part of GHQ’s parallel efforts.

Career Path
- After joining the company, you will initially drive projects as described above; however, in the medium to long term, we expect you to take on end-to-end responsibilities—from formulating digital marketing strategies to implementing initiatives—across the entire FR Group, in line with your experience and career aspirations.
- In the future, you will have the opportunity to take on a wide range of roles, including department head or leader in global business planning and development, manager in the digital marketing field, as well as roles such as overseeing business planning and development at overseas offices, managing digital marketing operations, or serving as the head of the digital marketing division.
Qualifications
Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Business-level English proficiency or a willingness to acquire it
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders, from executive management to frontline staff, and across departments such as IT and sales
- Experience demonstrating leadership in resolving internal and external business issues and in project management
- At least 3 years of experience proposing and implementing improvements to websites and advertisements based on data analysis, as well as planning and executing digital marketing strategies
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience as a Project Manager (PM) or in a Project Management Office (PMO) role for system development projects (with budgets ranging from 100 million to 300 million yen)
- Experience working on system implementation projects—from the business requirements definition phase onward—in a PM or PMO role
- Experience conducting business with overseas offices, foreign-affiliated companies, or international clients
- Experience at an advertising agency, MarTech vendor, or DX consulting firm
