The R&D Department, home to our designers and patternmakers, is a team of experts dedicated to bringing our “LifeWear” concept to life through products. For this position, we are seeking a designer or patternmaker specializing in women’s innerwear to help further evolve our clothing production.

The R&D Department, where you will be assigned, is a team of experts dedicated to bringing the "LifeWear" concept to life through products. Our in-house designers and patternmakers are active across five global locations centered in Tokyo (Tokyo, Shanghai, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles).We plan products that align with people’s living environments, lifestyles, and the times, and translate designs based on real-world needs into the “LifeWear” concept. We aim to continuously provide well-thought-out, simple clothing that improves and enriches people’s lives. Through our clothing, we strive to continuously drive innovation in the world.

■ Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience
・Designer
– At least 5 years of experience designing women’s innerwear
– Experience managing the entire process from product planning through design to mass production while overseeing multiple items (experience designing products yourself, placing orders with factories, and seeing products through to completion)
– Excellent communication skills in Japanese or English
・Patternmaker
- At least 7 years of experience creating specifications and patterns for women’s lingerie
- Experience working with CAD (pattern making)
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1)
■Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Experience
・Patternmaker
ーWork experience with CAD (grading), Excel, and Illustrator
ーEnglish proficiency: Conversational level (TOEIC 700 points) or higher

Work Conditions

First Year: Contract Employee (Fixed-term contract with a 3-month probationary period)
(Planned transition to regular employee status starting in the second year)
*Employment contracts may be renewed based on the company’s operational needs and the employee’s performance (no automatic renewal)
*There is no upper limit on contract renewals (cumulative duration or number of renewals).
■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 3.99 million yen – 7.40 million yen (Monthly Salary: 265,000 yen – 490,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, in addition to the above.
■ Working Hours
Either standard working hours or a flex-time system
(Determined based on job duties, expected role, and assigned department; details will be provided during the final interview)
・Standard Work Hours System
8 hours of actual work and 1-hour break between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
・Flexible Work Hours System
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Flexible hours: 6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)
■ Holidays and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
*Whether public holidays are also considered days off in addition to the holidays listed above will be specified individually in the contract for part-time employees.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted during the first and second half of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
