The R&D Department, to which designers and pattern makers belong, is a group of experts who actually commercialize the above brand message. In this position, we are looking for a knit designer for womenswear in order to further evolve our clothing manufacturing.
Organization Overview
The R&D Department, to which you will be assigned, is a group of experts in the commercialization of the brand message "YOUR FREEDOM". Designers and pattern makers from all departments, including men's, women's, kids', and merchandise, work hard every day in product development to deliver fashion that all people can enjoy to the world.
After joining us in this position, you will join the Women's Design Team within the R&D Department. Each team consists of designers with specialized skills and experience in each item and material.

General design work for women's knitwear
As we are expanding our stores overseas, it is necessary to research a wide range of global trends. The role will be to collect trend information in a timely manner, including designs, materials and colors, which will be the basis for product development, and to build an infrastructure for creating the latest products through the development of seasonal themes and design concepts.
Job Description is subject to change within the scope of work related to each department of the Division due to departmental transfers or organizational changes.

At least 5 years of experience as a designer in women's apparel and knitwear department
Able to manage the product planning, design, and production process (design, commission, and place orders with factories)
Ability to collect information on collections, markets, and various media and apply it to design
Preferred Knowledge/Abilities/Experience
We welcome those who are willing to learn English beyond daily English conversation, although language skills are not required.
In principle, we work with overseas business partners in English, including the preparation of specifications, etc.

■Annual salary
Annual salary range: 4.11-7.84 million yen (monthly salary: 270,000-490,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
