Job Description

With the mission of "We Deliver LifeWear" and "Increased sales and profits are created by developing new stores", we are building business strategies and expanding our store network globally. In the era of With Corona/After Corona, we need to adapt to this drastic environmental change, and in line with the company-wide strategy, we are looking for someone who can promote the expansion of large-scale stores, aggressive Scrap & Build, digitalization, and so on.

■Outline of the Department
The Group's store opening strategy is synonymous with its business growth strategy. The store is the point of contact with the customer, and the location and concept of the store will greatly affect the customer's purchasing experience. In turn, we will improve local communities by creating "destination stores" that attract people to the area and play a role as local infrastructure, thereby contributing to the local community and urban development.

■ Job Description
This position will lead new store openings and store network restructuring for Fast Retailing's brands in Japan, including UNIQLO, GU, and Theory.
Develop and build a nationwide store portfolio and store format that improves customer convenience and maximizes group sales revenue.
The position will also be responsible for the development and implementation of various strategic real estate schemes to create stores/facilities that are worth visiting.
Identification and management of strategic actions to maximize the performance of area development managers and realize store network reorganization
Improvement of the business infrastructure for store development, including digitalization, and transformation of work styles.
Reporting to and coordinating discussions with internal operating companies, etc.
Job Description may be subject to change within the scope of work related to each department of the headquarters as a result of departmental or organizational changes.

Career Path
There is a possibility to lead the Store Development Department as a leader, or to transfer to other departments including overseas business to be more closely involved in business management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Experience in any of the following
Experience in real estate transactions, due diligence, leasing, etc.
Experience in urban development from the planning stage
Experience in store strategy planning and store development
2. the ability to gather a wide range of knowledge and members from inside and outside the company and to build a team to maximize the value of the project, and to promote the project as a leader within that team, without sticking to your own area of expertise with an open mind.

In addition to the above, the following experience, skills, and abilities are also welcome
Experience as a manager
Experience in leasing and tenant brokerage sales for commercial facilities, etc.
Experience in English or willingness to take on new challenges

Work Condition

Company name: Fast Retailing Co.
Employment Type: Permanent
Annual salary
Annual salary range: 6.2-13.06 million yen (monthly salary: 396,000-726,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with company regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided based on the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion opportunities: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
