Job Description
Background of Recruitment
Fast Retailing Group is currently undergoing a company-wide transformation to create a "new industry" based on the concept of "LifeWear" that goes beyond the boundaries of conventional industries. GU is the second largest brand in the Fast Retailing Group after UNIQLO, and is operated with the goal of energizing people everywhere through the power of fashion. Now that g.u. is gaining acceptance as a brand loved around the world by offering global must-haves with Japanese quality and low prices, we are aiming to accelerate global growth by opening a store in New York in October 2022 and establishing a new merchandise headquarters in New York in September 2023, which will play a key role in product creation. Under the theme of "GO GLOBAL," g.u. is aiming to become a full-fledged global fashion brand, and we are looking for someone who can maximize the use of digital technology to enhance the brand's presence and promote business growth together.
■Department Overview
The Japan Digital Commerce Department, to which you will be assigned, operates the GU online site, which is the world's largest flagship store that combines commerce and branding, and aims to realize sustainable and discontinuous growth of the EC business.
This department consists of the Site Management Team, which is responsible for building the EC site to provide optimal purchasing; the EC Product Planning Team, which examines the optimal product mix and leads collaboration with related departments; and the EC Inventory Control Team, which promotes a system that produces only what customers really need and does not produce or carry wasteful items, The team consists of five teams: the Business Planning Team, which leads the integration of stores and EC, and the Customer Attraction and CRM Team.
The Customer Attraction & CRM Team, to which this position will be assigned, is responsible for attracting customers to the online site by utilizing GU's big data, designing and implementing communication with member customers, evolving digital marketing, designing communication through in-store sales promotion materials and sales space presentation and contributing to the We are promoting the creation of new experience value through the integration of store/e-commerce channels. You will lead the evolution of GU's digital marketing on a global scale.
You will be in charge of one (or more) of the apps, mail magazines, and LINE channels, and will be responsible for planning, executing, and improving dynamic information dissemination measures in response to business conditions, in order to "maximize customer attraction using big data," "improve existing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty," and "maximize cost-effectiveness of digital marketing. You will be in charge of one (or more) of the apps, mail magazines, or LINE channels, and will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving dynamic information dissemination measures in response to business conditions. In collaboration with the Product Planning Department, which is in charge of sales planning, you will develop an information dissemination plan that includes information on campaigns and new products, as well as products and contents to be posted on the site, taking into consideration the current business situation and market trends.

Experience in CRM operation (mail magazine/app push/Line, etc.) utilizing big data in BtoC business: 1 year or more
Experience using analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytics): 1 year or more
1 year or more of experience in direct communication to customers, from hypothesis development to scenario creation, execution, and effectiveness verification
Experience in a project or business development role
Experience, skills, and abilities that would be welcome
Experience in query creation and data extraction and analysis
Knowledge of data infrastructure and architecture, knowledge and experience of various infrastructures in digital marketing (Google Analytics, Apps Flyer, etc.)
