Organization Overview
The R&D Department, to which you will be assigned, consists of designers and pattern makers from all departments of GU, including men's, women's, kids', and merchandise, who are passionate about bringing the joy of fashion to everyone.
Our mission is to continue to create products that exceed our customers' expectations through continuous transformation in the entire garment-making process, including new materials, design, and production. By developing products that combine "fashion + practicality + low price" based on customer feedback and trends, we will enhance GU's brand value and drive its growth into a truly global brand.

■Duties
As the person in charge of the kids' area, you will be expected to utilize your past experience to promote radical design transformation and further quality improvement, and to develop the kids' product line into a pillar of our global expansion. In addition, we expect you to create a high level of results as a team through training and development of the members of the kids domain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and proposing new products based on the latest trends in kids' fashion through global market research and trend analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the evolution of the product line into a kids' product line that is supported around the world.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product development process, from ideation to commercialization. You will also visit our partner fabric and sewing factories as needed to ensure a high degree of perfection in the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge/Abilities/Experience
At least 10 years of design experience (preferably in the kids/baby, teens, and women's fields)
Creative thinking and design skills, ability to grasp global trends
Leadership and management skills to effectively promote projects through smooth communication and collaboration with team members and other departments.

■Personality Requirements
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control, and a strong interest in the design and quality transformation of children's products.
Able to work as a team in order to make GU a brand loved around the world.
Have an interest in new technologies and materials, and the ability to incorporate them into design.

Annual salary
Annual salary range: 7.2-14.94 million yen (monthly salary: 450,000-830,000 yen)
