This position is for an expert who will not only determine the system configuration and technology to be used, but also lead the design of all aspects of system construction, including development processes, migration methods, and operational methods. As a core member of the global headquarters, this position is also responsible for planning and implementing radical solutions to system issues.
■ Job Description
As a system architect in the development organization of various systems used across the Fast Retailing Group and globally, you will be entrusted with the entire process from conceptualization to system design, development, and delivery in collaboration with the business divisions. As an architect, you will be involved in a wide range of technical areas (from infrastructure to applications) related to systems in general, not just in specific fields. The specifics are as follows.
Define the business that should be done based on an understanding of the actual business, and determine the scope of systemization and systemization policy to match the business.
System design based on the linkage of a wide range of operations such as product planning, SCM (planning, production, inventory, and logistics), stores/EC, accounting, human resources, etc.
Formulate a consensus on the system design with the parties involved in the above business areas.
Development management and delivery of the designed system
Technical support and guidance of development team members
In addition to the above, you will be expected to provide cross-sectional and technical leadership in the formulation of company-wide technical standards and the selection of new technologies.
