Job Description

■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing Group (hereinafter “FR Group”) aims to transform its business model beyond the traditional retail framework into a “Digital Consumer Retail Company” and become the world’s leading apparel group. In particular, the FR Group has identified globalization and digital transformation as its top priorities and is working to enhance the level of digital marketing both within the Group and globally, while building the infrastructure and platforms necessary for digital marketing. We are seeking individuals who can prioritize all of FR’s digital channels (owned, earned, and paid) and drive the implementation and transformation of “customer-centric marketing”—based on customer feedback and data—on a global scale.

■ Department Overview
The Global Digital Marketing Department is driving a global transformation toward an “information-driven retail business” that enhances customer satisfaction and delivers new shopping experiences by providing each customer with the most relevant information. The department consists of three teams: Global Business Development, Social Media Marketing, and Customer Acquisition & CRM. This position is expected to be assigned to the Customer Acquisition & CRM team.

■Job Description
The CRM team to which you will be assigned is collaborating with the IT team to build a world-class CRM platform. In this role, acting as the Global Headquarters (GHQ), you will lead efforts to solve digital marketing challenges and drive growth for all FR Group brands across various countries, covering both online and offline customer touchpoints.
Your specific initial assignments will be determined through ongoing discussions during the selection process, based on your experience and career aspirations, but you are expected to work on the following areas:

(1) Driving CRM Marketing
・Develop CRM utilization strategies to create optimal customer experiences for each country and region while understanding their respective business objectives, and lead projects based on those strategies as the person in charge.
・Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to analyze datasets in depth, and define and execute a global roadmap for marketing automation (MA) programs that maximize business impact.

(2) Driving the CRM Customer Data Platform
・Optimize front-end and back-end privacy settings in accordance with data privacy requirements in each country and region, as well as the specific context of all customer data.

(3) Driving and Supporting Country-Level Operations
・Developed CRM programs for new product launches in alignment with the global marketing strategy. ・Identified ways to leverage CRM that lead to further improvements in the customer experience and maximize business value.
・As a CRM consultant, support digital marketing teams in each country and region to deliver world-class customer experiences.

■Career Path
・You will have the opportunity to take on a wide range of roles, including General Manager or Leader of Global Business Planning and Development, Manager in the digital marketing field, as well as roles overseeing business planning and development at overseas offices, leading digital marketing efforts, or serving as the head of the digital marketing division. You will also have the opportunity to take on challenges in the business development of next-generation media and services.

Qualifications

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Business-level English proficiency, or a willingness to acquire it
・Experience proactively identifying business challenges and driving their resolution as a project leader
・At least 3 years of professional experience independently planning and executing data-driven digital marketing campaigns, with a focus on CRM
・In-depth knowledge of how to operate multiple CRM channels, including email, app push notifications, and SMS

■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Deep understanding of customer data platforms
・Experience planning and growing FMCG e-commerce sites (particularly for apparel products)
・Experience implementing marketing automation (MA) tools such as Adobe Campaign or Salesforce
・Experience working with databases and familiarity with SQL
・Experience in both online and offline marketing aimed at expanding market share
・Experience collaborating with overseas offices, foreign-affiliated companies, and global business partners
・Experience in consulting, digital/IT-related roles, or project management within a corporate setting
・The ability to speak Japanese is preferred but not required

Work Conditions

Full-time employee (permanent position, with a 3-month probationary period)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 8 million yen – 13.5 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000 yen – 750,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay based on grade, etc. (*All subject to company regulations.)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

■ Working Hours
Flexible work hours or managerial/supervisory position
・Flexible Work Hours System: Standard daily working hours of 8 hours, 1-hour break, core hours from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, flexible hours from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM; overtime work may be required
・Supervisory staff: Working hours are generally based on the department’s schedule and are left to the employee’s discretion

■ Days Off and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are considered workdays). Annual paid leave, special leave and bereavement leave, childcare and family care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
