Job Description
■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing Group aims to transcend the traditional retail framework, transform into an "information-manufacturing retailer," and become the world's leading apparel group.
As part of this initiative, we launched “UNIQLO LIVE STATION,” a live commerce platform that delivers meaningful information centered on LifeWear to a wide range of customers and offers a new shopping experience. By integrating with our physical stores, we aim to create a unique live commerce experience that only the Fast Retailing Group can deliver. We provide an experience where customers can enjoy shopping for clothing while feeling the same sense of presence as if they were shopping in a physical store or receiving service from staff—all within a digital environment.
For this position, we are seeking a team member who will lead the planning and promotion of UNIQLO’s live commerce platform, “LIVE STATION,” drive the expansion of new shopping services, and join us in realizing a new, customer-centric company—an “information-manufacturing retailer.”
■Job Description
You will be responsible for the overall planning and operation of "LIVE STATION," UNIQLO’s new in-house live commerce platform. There are three main roles, and while your initial assignment will be determined based on your career aspirations and prior experience, once you have a comprehensive understanding of LIVE STATION, you will take on responsibilities across all three roles.
(1) Content Planning
Based on business plans, this involves planning and structuring content themes for broadcasts, writing scripts, selecting cast members, collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Merchandising (MD) and E-commerce to select featured products, and setting KPIs.
(2) Broadcast Operations
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to establish filming systems and select broadcast schedules and locations. Additionally, designing and executing pre- and post-broadcast operations, including rehearsals, sample product arrangements, and managing chat interactions during broadcasts.
(3) O2O (Customer Acquisition & Store Integration)
Developing and executing strategies to increase live viewership and drive traffic to e-commerce and physical stores following broadcasts. Additionally, promoting internal collaboration to ensure that content and styling featured in live broadcasts are effectively showcased in physical stores and on e-commerce platforms.
■Career Path
・This is a highly rewarding role focused on rapidly growing live commerce—a new shopping experience—as our own media platform and expanding it not only in Japan but also on the global stage.
・We expect you to use creative thinking to not only increase brand awareness and viewer numbers but also to figure out how to connect live streaming to improved customer value and sales, thereby driving service growth.
・This role requires you to act as a “business-growing executive”—a value we hold dear—and to develop strategies from an executive’s perspective, offering significant opportunities for personal growth.
・You will be able to enhance your skills by applying the expertise gained in this team to other areas such as social media, digital marketing, and product marketing.
