Job Description

■Recruitment Background and Department Mission

The Sustainability Department is advancing various initiatives, including addressing human rights and environmental impacts within the supply chain; responding to global social issues such as climate change and natural capital; transitioning to a circular business model—including promoting the repair, reuse, and recycling of clothing; and engaging in social contribution activities. We are seeking individuals with experience and skills across diverse fields who resonate with our challenges and are committed to advancing our mission together.

■ Department Overview:
The Sustainability Department is organized into four teams based on their functions: Business and Social Issue Resolution, Factory Working Environment Transformation, Global Environmental Management, and Disclosure. This position is scheduled to be assigned to the Business and Social Issue Resolution Team. The team’s mission is to solve social issues and create new value through the apparel business, guided by our sustainability statement: “Turning the Power of Clothing into the Power of Society.”

■Job Description
You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, UN agencies, and NGOs, to contribute to social stability and sustainable development, and plan and execute impactful initiatives at both the global and local levels. Specifically, your responsibilities will include the following:
・Planning and executing the FR Group’s social contribution activities, and formulating policies and guidelines for countries where we operate
・Negotiating with and building and maintaining partnerships with supporting organizations such as the UN and NGOs
・Quantitative evaluation of community investments and visualization of social impact
・Supporting the promotion of store-level social contribution activities that foster coexistence and mutual prosperity with local communities
・The Job Description may change within the scope of duties related to various headquarters departments due to department transfers or organizational changes.

■ Career Path: The social contribution field encompasses not only humanitarian aid but also areas related to the environment and supply chains. Depending on your interests and expertise, future career paths may include roles in environmental issues, human rights and labor, public relations, and other related fields.

Qualifications

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities: 
Individuals with a strong passion for improving society through business activities and who possess experience in any of the following:
・Experience promoting social contribution activities at a business company or consulting firm, even if not in a dedicated department, or experience in the sustainability field
・Work experience in humanitarian aid or sustainability-related fields at international organizations, government ministries, corporate associations, research institutions, or NPOs/NGOs
<Language Skills>
Ability to communicate in English and practical experience using the language (TOEIC score of 800 or higher is preferred)

Work Conditions

Full-time Employee (Permanent Position, with a 3-month probationary period)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 6.72–12.60 million yen (Monthly Salary: 420,000–700,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluation)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above

■ Working Hours
Flexible work hours, or managerial/supervisory positions
・Flexible work hours
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

・Supervisors
Based on the working hours of the employee’s department, with the decision left to the employee

■ Holidays and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
