Job Description
■ Recruitment Background:
Our corporate statement is "Change Clothing, Change Common Sense, Change the World" and our concept of clothing is "LifeWear" (clothing that enriches the lives of all people, the ultimate everyday wear). Sustainability is extremely important in realizing this concept and is one of the most important management issues. The Sustainability Department is promoting various initiatives, including addressing global-scale social issues such as human rights and environmental impact in the supply chain, climate change and natural capital, shifting to a recycling-oriented business model including the promotion of repair, reuse, and recycling of clothing, and social contribution activities. We are looking for people who have experience and skills in diverse fields, who share our challenges as described above, and who can promote our aspirations together.
■ Department Overview:
The Sustainability Department has four teams depending on their functions: Business and Social Problem Solving, Factory Labor Environment Transformation, Global Environmental Management, and Disclosure. This position will be assigned to the Global Environmental Management Team.
■ Job Description:
The duties to be assigned will be determined based on the applicant's aptitude and desires, as well as the needs of the department. (Examples include)
Fast Retailing's climate change initiatives
Fast Retailing's natural capital and biodiversity initiatives
Addressing environmental issues in the supply chain (chemical substances, water pollution, plastic use reduction, etc.)
Promoting sustainable clothing production (sustainable raw material procurement, development of new materials, etc.)
Development of clothing that addresses environmental and social issues
Promote transition to a recycling-oriented business model (repair, reuse, and recycle clothing)

Qualifications
Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to take a proactive approach to solving sustainability issues from a management perspective
Working level of English (TOEIC score of 800 or above).
Experience in project management and new business creation at a business company and/or experience in sustainability-related work at a consulting firm or government agency

Annual salary
Annual salary range: 672-11.7 million yen (monthly salary: 420,000-650,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
