Background of Recruitment

In December 2021, the Fast Retailing Group announced its mid- to long-term strategy for sustainability, "LifeWear = New Industry," with a vision to create a new industry of clothing and a commitment to society with a mid- to long-term action plan. Specifically, we have set goals in addressing climate change, building a supply chain that takes into consideration the environment and human rights, evolving to a recycling-oriented business model, social contribution activities, and promoting diversity. In this position, we are looking for a person who will work with us to place sustainability at the core of our management and take on challenges with enthusiasm.
■Department Overview
The Sustainability Marketing Team, to which you will be assigned, is in charge of all aspects of sustainability-related communications. The team is in charge of all aspects of sustainability-related communication, from information about sustainable products, to activities involving stores such as clothing reuse/recycling and community contribution activities, information disclosure on traceability, etc., and information dissemination through various media at various layers to achieve the sustainability goals of the FR Group as a whole, including UNIQLO. We are engaged in the entire process of sustainability activities, from the development of new products and services, to the implementation of new products and services, to the promotion of sustainability activities.
Job Description
The mission of this position is to contribute to marketing and branding by correctly and effectively communicating the Company's sustainability policy and specific activities both internally and externally. Specifically, this includes the following.
Develop and implement strategies and plans to ensure that UNIQLO and other brands, as a leading company in sustainability, become a point of contact for customers with regard to sustainability, and that this becomes a starting point for the spread of sustainability.
Create sales promotion materials that communicate sustainability initiatives in a way that is easy for everyone to understand, and support UNIQLO and other brands to utilize these materials in their marketing activities.
Create sustainability-related content, and plan and manage events and campaigns that customers can participate in, both online and offline.
Marketing and educational activities for employees regarding sustainability
Assignments will be considered through dialogue during the selection process based on your experience.

Experience in PR and marketing strategy development and execution at an operating company
Experience in PR projects for B-to-C products at a PR agency
Experience in marketing or advertising at a publishing company, advertising agency, TV station, record company, film distributor, etc.

Project management skills
Business level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 700 or above as a general guideline, and the ability to prepare documents and speak at internal and external meetings)
