In this position, we are looking for a production merchandiser candidate who will be responsible for the transformation of manufacturing from a new perspective and further business growth from the perspective of product production and supply in the Global Merchandise Division, which is responsible for the realization of the brand concept.

Outline of the department
The Global Merchandising Division/Production Department, to which you will be assigned, will be responsible for the realization of product planning and the efficiency of the entire production supply chain, centered on product production planning and quality control. By leveraging strong partnerships with sewing factories and material factories, the department is responsible for full control of product development, manufacturing, and shipping, ensuring the highest level of QCD (quality, price, and delivery) at all times. Most recently, in order to respond to global business expansion and diversifying customer needs, we have been working to build a system that enables stable and flexible production while ensuring sustainability, and we are also promoting initiatives to procure cotton, feathers, and flax, the raw materials for our clothing, from designated farms.

■ Business Description
As a leader of the entire supply chain, you will participate in the clothing manufacturing process from the planning stage, and will be responsible for planning and executing strategies to achieve optimal QCD (quality, price, delivery).
The position connects the MD department at the global headquarters, designers and production offices in various overseas countries, and drives our business growth from the perspective of product development. The following is an example of the job description.
Work with MD and R&D designers to develop products with optimal quality, price, and delivery time.
Select the most suitable sewing factory to realize the product idea, and conduct consistent project management until the completion of production.
Identifying opportunities for business growth from material and product trends and customer needs obtained from material factories and sewing factories, and feeding the information back to product development.
・Consider measures that will enable both the Group and partner factories to grow, and strengthen partnerships.
*Flexible consideration will be given to assignments at the time of joining the company, depending on skills and experience at the time of joining the company.
*Duties are subject to change within the scope of work related to each department of the headquarters due to departmental transfers and organizational changes.

Career Path
After deepening your understanding of our products and on-site operations through on-the-job training at our stores in Japan, you will learn the operations of the Production Department and knowledge of product and material development at our global headquarters. After 1-2 years of employment, we expect you to be posted to an overseas production office to work on the global stage. In the mid- to long-term, you will be expected to work closely with the relevant departments involved in manufacturing and be responsible for resolving issues related to the product development process in each country, and lead product transformation to achieve further business growth.
Depending on your skills and ambitions, we offer a wide range of opportunities for you to challenge yourself in related departments (MD, R&D, Marketing) or as a business manager in each country, not to mention career advancement to a position in this department or as a production office manager.

Qualifications

■Required experience, skills, and abilities:
Experience in apparel or production management at the time of joining the company is not required.
Business level English proficiency (TOEIC 700 or equivalent)
Ability to work overseas in the future (1-2 years after joining the company).
Must have an interest in clothing, shoes, bags and other accessories.

■Welcome experience, skills and abilities:
Experience in overseas sales and overseas assignment
Experience in leading projects by involving both internal and external parties
Experience in one of the following at a general/textile trading company or apparel company
OEM/ODM sales, production management, MD, buyer, product planning

Annual salary
Annual salary range: 6-12 million yen (monthly salary: 390,000-650,000 yen)
