UNIQLO's T-shirt brand "UT" was established in 2003, and has evolved by incorporating cultures from around the world under the concept of "making T-shirts more free and interesting. Through collaborations with art, characters, and brands, we continue to propose T-shirts as more than just clothing, but as tools for expressing individuality and values.
In 2006, UT attracted global attention with the "Japanese Pop Culture Project" at the New York SOHO store, and now has a growing global presence in the US, EU, ASEAN, and other countries. The UT Business Partnership team is building the world's number one T-shirt brand by connecting with creators, designers, companies, brands, and individuals around the world, and putting all the world's pop culture on products for the world to see. Our mission is to create valuable content and provide new value to our customers in terms of products, retail space, customer experience, and services.
■ Job Description:
The UT Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the smooth promotion of UT's collaborations with art, characters, companies, and brands around the world.
The position will also assist with research, intellectual property research, negative checks, proofreading checks, and other tasks. Assist with research, IP research, negative checks, proofreading checks, etc.
This is an important role that supports the global UT project in collaboration with various stakeholders such as legal, merchandisers, designers, marketing, finance and accounting within the company.

Strong communication skills to work smoothly with internal and external parties.
Project management skills to be able to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks according to the situation

■ Experience in the following areas
At least 1 year of experience in IP licensing (including assistantship)
English language skills to read and write documents and e-mails (TOEIC score of 650 or above as a general guideline)
Strong communication skills to work smoothly with internal and external parties.
Project management skills to be able to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks according to the situation
Hospitality to ensure the smooth operation of the team.

Employment Type: Contract
Annual salary range: 3.5-5 million yen (monthly salary: 230,000-330,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with company regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotions: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluations)
Working hours
General working hours
8 hours between 7:00 and 18:00 with 1 hour break
Overtime: Average 10 hours/month
Arrival time can be negotiated between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m.
