■ Recruitment Background:
Fast Retailing is pursuing the ultimate supply chain transformation, which no other company in the world has achieved: to produce, transport, and sell what customers want, when they want it, and in the quantities they need. In order to realize this, it is vital to review all logistics infrastructure from scratch and continuously improve and utilize it, such as building an optimal structure and network throughout the entire global supply chain, establishing and strengthening strategic partnerships, and introducing the world's most advanced automated warehouses. In this position, we are looking for a leader candidate who will be responsible for fundamental transformation of the global supply chain in our company, which aims to achieve consolidated group sales of 5 trillion yen or 10 trillion yen.

The department is responsible for the immediate delivery of necessary products in necessary quantities from production sites to warehouses in each country of operation and to all stores, as well as the fastest possible delivery of products to customers who have purchased through the EC. Under our corporate statement, "We change clothes, we change common sense, we change the world," we control all logistics processes in-house to realize the best possible service for our customers and promote the optimization of our business management.

■ Job Description:

Based on this, the mission will formulate measures such as transformation of transportation means and routes, reexamination of warehouse functions, services, and floor space, and consideration of labor-saving measures through automation of warehouse operations, and lead the process of consensus building within the company.
Execution of reforms and creation of results: Based on the internally agreed-upon plan, you will promote the transformation of operations in each global country. The implementation will be led by the person in charge of each country, but the person in charge of each country will also be responsible for driving reforms through to the creation of final results by personally visiting the country as necessary and unraveling problems that arise in the implementation stage.
Creation of best practices and global standardization: The role will be to standardize operations worldwide by identifying and rapidly deploying the world's best practices and know-how, optimizing the number of weeks of inventory at the SKU level, proposing optimal KPI levels and management methods, and sharing safety and quality-related issues in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the world's highest standard of logistics operations on a global basis.
Based on your skills and experience, you may be required to engage in training/work at a physical store or our warehouse at the beginning of your career with us.
Job Description may be subject to change within the scope of work related to each department of the headquarters due to departmental changes or reorganization.

■Career Path:
After gaining practical experience in management transformation involving global countries from Japan, you will be expected to take an active role as the person in charge of logistics in each country of operation.
