Fast Retailing Group is currently promoting the "Ariake Project," a company-wide transformation to become a "Digital Consumer Retail Company" that transcends the traditional framework of a retailer. The Ariake Project is a company-wide reform project to transform the company into a "Digital Consumer Retail Company". In order to achieve this, the Digital Business Transformation Service Department is leading the transformation of the entire company, not only promoting globalization, cloud computing, and mobility by utilizing the latest technologies, but also as "aggressive IT", i.e., IT that generates profits. This position is for a project manager who will promote the development of Fast Retailing's centralized big data platform, Data Lake, as well as its stable operation and continuous development as a product and service.

■Department Overview
The mission of the Digital Business Transformation Service Department is to define the "ideal" business operations from the customer's perspective, and to lead and realize business transformation using the latest IT technologies. In order to realize the "Ariake Project", we are accelerating the in-house development of core systems centered on supply chain as well as EC and store systems. In addition to project managers, a wide range of human resources are active, including in-house development engineers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers.

Job Description
The successful candidate will lead the project management and service management of the data lake used as Fast Retailing's data centralization platform, from development to operation. You will build a platform that collects, stores, processes, and provides global x uniform data in a centralized manner for the world's top apparel company. You will be in charge of the very challenging task of coordinating requirements from various departments and realizing the evolution and stable operation of the platform while taking into consideration scope, schedule, cost, quality, and other factors.

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
5+ years of experience as a PM or PMO for system development projects at a business or consulting company
More than 3 years of experience in back-end system development and operation (DB, API, etc.)
Experience in both waterfall and agile development
Knowledge of data engineering and big data processing
Business level English and Japanese communication skills
