■ Department Overview
The Digital Business Transformation Services Department is committed to defining the “ideal state” of business operations from the customer’s perspective and leading and realizing business transformation through the use of the latest IT technologies. To realize the “Ariake Project,” we are rapidly advancing in-house development not only for e-commerce and store systems but also for core systems centered on the supply chain. In addition to project managers, a wide range of professionals—including in-house development engineers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers—are actively contributing to this effort.

■Job Description
You will lead project management and service management for the data lake, which serves as Fast Retailing’s centralized data platform, from development through to operations.You will build a platform that centrally collects, stores, processes, and provides global, end-to-end data for a world-class apparel company. You will be responsible for a highly challenging role that involves consolidating requirements from various departments, ensuring the platform’s evolution and stable operation while balancing scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・5+ years of experience as a Project Manager (PM) or in a Project Management Office (PMO) role on system development projects at a business corporation, consulting firm, or similar organization
・At least 3 years of experience in backend system development and operations (DB, API, etc.)
・Experience with both waterfall and agile development methodologies
・Knowledge of data engineering and big data processing
・Business-level communication skills in both English and Japanese
・Experience in organizational or project management, or in mentoring subordinates or junior staff
・Someone who is willing to actively engage in a work environment where English is used on a daily basis *Fluency or practical experience at this stage is not required.

・Development and operations experience using GCP and BigQuery
・Experience working in multinational teams
・Experience building common or general-purpose frameworks and libraries
・Experience in development and operations in collaboration with external partners and system integrators

・Experience with and understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance
・Experience developing distributed systems, highly concurrent systems, and high-availability systems
