Job Description

Background of Recruitment
Fast Retailing Group is currently undergoing a company-wide transformation to create a new industry based on the concept of "LifeWear" that goes beyond the boundaries of the conventional apparel industry.
You will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies from the ground up to promote UNIQLO's brand and products based on the "LifeWear" values throughout Japan and in each region of the country. We are looking for a wide range of people who can lead the creation of attractive communication strategies and sales areas for our customers, not only in the marketing department, but also in collaboration with other departments.

■Department Overview
The mission of the Marketing Department is to correctly communicate the "value" of brands and products to customers, and we are strengthening our functions to shift the axis of product development to a more market-oriented approach while deepening our understanding of these values.
The Global Marketing Department, as the global headquarters, has the main mission to issue appropriate direction based on the medium- and long-term strategies of each country. The Japan Marketing Department is responsible for the execution of communication strategies in the domestic market in cooperation with other teams with media expertise within the Marketing Department, stores, and related departments.

Job Description
As a key player in the Japan Marketing Department, the Japan Marketing Department analyzes customer needs, identifies the next business opportunity, and develops strategies to execute them. The Japan Marketing Department is responsible for communication about the value we can offer in terms of products, services, new store openings, and various corporate activities that contribute to peace and stability in local communities, while building an annual plan that considers not only UNIQLO's own events such as Thanksgiving Day, but also annual seasonal events, events, and product releases. As a product marketing manager in Japan, you will be responsible for marketing communications that communicate the value of the brand and products in each category in a way that is easy for customers to understand.

As UNIQLO in Japan is positioned as a global headquarters, we expect you to continue to improve your language skills. On top of that, the following possibilities are available

-To take on a management role in the Japan marketing organization (promotion to leader or general manager)
-Rotate to global marketing or creative responsibilities (expand your experience to global responsibilities based on your experience in Japan)
-Transportation to overseas as a marketing manager in various countries (we have experience in such postings).

You will be able to directly contribute to UNIQLO's branding and sales through branding and promotion of products, services, annual events, new stores and corporate activities. You will be encouraged to think outside the box and take on new challenges.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
Experience in one of the following
Marketing experience at a business company or manufacturer (BtoB as well as BtoC experience is highly desirable)
Experience in communications and strategic planning at an advertising agency

Experience using English for business purposes
Knowledge of multiple industries

Full-time employee (no fixed term, probationary period (3 months))

Annual salary
Annual salary range: 7.2 to 11.52 million yen (monthly salary: 450,000 to 640,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
