Job Description

■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing Group is undergoing a company-wide transformation to create a new industry based on the "LifeWear" concept, which transcends the traditional boundaries of the apparel industry.
To communicate the brand and product value of UNIQLO—built on this concept—globally and establish the brand’s position worldwide, we will develop marketing strategies and plans and execute them in collaboration with our international offices. We are seeking a leader to head this global headquarters function.

■Department Overview
The Global Marketing Team within the Global Marketing Department is on a mission to deliver the UNIQLO brand, the “LifeWear” concept, and the intrinsic value of our products to customers around the world.As the global headquarters, we are involved from the very beginning of product development, devising marketing communication strategies to maximize brand and product value, and providing support for their execution in each country. The team consists of a Global Marketing division responsible for strategy development and a Creative division that drives content development from both brand and customer perspectives to diversify and enhance our communications. Working in collaboration, we are committed to creating a unified brand value across the globe.

■Job Description
Based on your skills, experience, and aptitude, you will perform the following duties in either the Global Marketing or Creative division. Additionally, if you have management experience, you will be responsible for driving team results, including people management.

[Job Description for the Global Marketing Division]
・Analyze the features of assigned products and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and participate in product development
・Define global targets and positioning for assigned products and develop communication plans to achieve them
・Conduct market research for various collaboration projects, and develop design concepts and communication plans in coordination with relevant departments and licensors
・Based on the communication plan, plan and execute brand promotion initiatives in collaboration with global media partners, and provide implementation support and sales promotion assistance to marketing teams in each country
・Effectively measure brand and business performance in each country. Identify challenges, formulate hypotheses, and support the development and execution of action plans based on these results

[Creative Job Description]
・Create value for the LifeWear brand and product brands by analyzing product features and customer needs, and taking end-to-end responsibility—from developing communication plans to producing content—using approaches and messages that resonate with the audience
・Developing and producing informational content across a wide range of media and channels, including TV commercials, digital media, social media, outdoor advertising, in-store promotional materials, and events
・Manage schedules and costs throughout the content production process

・Promotion to management positions (Team Leader, Department Manager) within the marketing organization
・Serving as the Japan representative at UNIQLO, responsible for planning and executing communication strategies for stores and regions across Japan
・Assignment overseas to serve as a marketing manager in a country where the company operates
・Rotation to departments where you can leverage your experience in content development and supervision, such as the Global Creative Lab, which is responsible for strengthening the creative capabilities of the entire Fast Retailing Group

Qualifications

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities: A TOEIC score of 700 or higher, or equivalent English proficiency, plus experience in one of the following areas:

[Global Marketing]
・At least 3 years of marketing experience at a business company or manufacturer
・Experience in communications and strategic planning at an advertising agency
・Experience in business promotion or new business development for products or services (other than marketing)

[Creative Field]
・At least 3 years of experience in content planning, development, and supervision at media companies (such as publishers), advertising agencies, PR agencies, or production companies

■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Practical experience in the consumer goods, apparel, or fashion industries
・Interest in apparel, fashion, art, and culture
・Experience in organizational management
・Individuals who resonate with the FR Group’s philosophy and concepts

Full-time Employee (Permanent Position, with a 3-month probationary period)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 6.56 million to 18.5 million yen
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations. Overseas assignments are subject to the overseas expatriate system)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the above.

Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
