There are still many challenges to be overcome for GU to become a truly global brand. Through transformation in all aspects of the clothing business, including building a stronger management team by hiring and training diverse human resources, perfecting products and styling, creating sales floors that are easy for customers to shop at, improving the accuracy of quantity and sales planning, and creating a system for flexible additional production, we will strive to achieve a minimal number of product numbers and We are looking for a leader candidate for O2O business planning and development who can promote GU's unique brand value of enjoying fashion to the fullest at a minimum number of items and at a reasonable price.

Outline of the department
We operate the g.u. online site, which is the world's largest flagship store that combines commerce and branding, and aim to realize sustainable and discontinuous growth of the EC business as a growth engine of the business.
The store/EC fusion team, which is recruiting this time, will collaborate with various departments to promote a more seamless purchasing experience between physical stores and EC through omni-channel and digital contact points.

■ Business Description
From both the product and service perspectives of O2O, we will promote a more seamless purchasing experience between brick-and-mortar stores and EC through digital contact points, aiming to realize "the clothes customers really want are there when they want them, and they can buy them immediately.
Our mission is to promote omni-channel by reviewing business results from the customer's perspective and collaborating with various departments from upstream to downstream of the business, from product development to customer service by sales staff. You will be responsible for planning and introducing new services based on the GU app, which has been downloaded more than 45 million times in total, and improving the convenience of the app itself based on customer feedback, in close cooperation with the digital specialist area.

Specifically, you will be expected to do the following
(1) Expand the number of customers who use both in-store and e-commerce services
(2) Expand the number of customers who use store pickup
(3) Introduce new services that integrate store and EC
(3) Introduce new services that integrate stores and EC *(Specific examples) New introduction of store pickup (Click & Collect) and ORDER & PICK services, etc.

■Career Path
After assuming the position, you will support the promotion of existing service initiatives while gaining an understanding of the store and online business. After that, we expect you to become a product manager at an early stage. You will not only work in Japan, but also horizontally expand domestic initiatives to the global market and provide new experience value to customers around the world.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in product management (ability to look at products from the customer's point of view and experience)
Experience in planning and development of new business or new services for EC services at a business company or consulting firm.
Experience in content planning or implementation of measures to attract customers for EC services.

Preferred experience, skills and abilities
Knowledge and understanding of the latest technologies and trends in the OMO domain
Experience in planning and developing omni-services or introducing new services to stores.
Knowledge and experience in system planning and development of own services.
The candidate should be able to correctly analyze the current situation by looking at the numerical results and sales situation, and be able to formulate and implement the next measures based on the evidence.
Good leadership and communication skills to involve others.
English proficiency with TOETC score of 700 or above (approx.)
Business level English proficiency in email, conversation, and presentations is a plus.

Employment Type
Full-time (no fixed term, probationary period (3 months))

■Annual salary range
Around 7.04-11 million yen (monthly salary: 440,000-620,000 yen)
Allowance: commuting allowance, overtime allowance depending on grade
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be determined based on the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)

Working hours
Flextime system or management supervisor
Flexible working hours: 8 hours per day, 1 hour break, core hours 9:00-14:00, flexible hours 6:00-9:00, 14:00-20:00, overtime work available
Managers and supervisors: Based on the working hours of their department and left to the employee's decision.
