The PR Team fulfills two roles—Corporate PR and Fashion PR—handling PR for stores, people, and corporate activities, as well as planning and executing PR and communication strategies to raise awareness of seasonal products, collaboration projects, and other initiatives, ultimately driving sales growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for Fashion PR.
Core hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM; overtime work may be required

Department Overview
The mission of the PR Team within the Marketing Department, to which you will be assigned, is to communicate GU’s value—across all aspects including products, people, stores, and social contributions—to customers worldwide through the media and stakeholders under the brand message “YOUR FREEDOM,” thereby building a reputation as a dynamic global fashion brand and driving sales promotion.The PR Team fulfills two roles—Corporate PR and Fashion PR—handling PR for stores, people, and corporate activities, as well as planning and executing PR and communication strategies to raise awareness of seasonal products, collaboration projects, and other initiatives, ultimately driving sales growth. Job Description
- Planning and executing media events both domestically and internationally, such as trade shows and strategic announcements
- Generating media coverage through PR releases and newsletters
- Developing proposals to secure coverage in TV, newspapers, publishing companies, and online media
- Building relationships with the media and stakeholders
- Collaborating with GU PR representatives in overseas countries and regions to support the planning and execution of global PR strategies
- Global crisis management
- Visualizing the effectiveness of PR activities and ensuring accurate internal feedback on media responses and insights
Career Path
In the future, we expect you to take on the role of a marketing leader (Manager or Department Head) for brands expanding not only domestically but also globally.Qualifications
Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities: Experience in any of the following
- PR or marketing experience at a company in the fashion, cosmetics, or consumer goods industry
- Experience with PR projects for apparel products at a PR agency
- Experience in editing, marketing, or advertising at a fashion-related media outlet
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- TOEIC score of 700 or higher, or equivalent English proficiency (for use in internal and external meetings and emails)
- Deep knowledge of not only fashion but also art, culture, and trends
