We aim to be an “information-driven retail business” that uses customer feedback and information as the driving force behind all corporate activities—including planning, production, and sales. Within this framework, the Customer Center is a critical department that provides the highest level of service at the forefront of customer interactions, gathers feedback from customers around the world, shares it across the entire company, and drives the resolution of challenges and the development of new opportunities. We are seeking a leader to spearhead the creation of a new Customer Center that drives business transformation centered on customer feedback.

Assigned Department

You will be assigned to the Global Infrastructure Development Team, which drives the utilization of Voice of the Customer (VOC) and digital transformation within the Customer Center.

Job Description

You will drive problem-solving and opportunity development based on customer feedback in either the “Services” (in-store and online store services) or “Products” domain.

• Planning, executing, and validating initiatives to gather customers’ latent needs regarding GU’s products and services
• Analyze customer feedback, derive insights, and make proposals
• Building a platform to visualize customer feedback across the entire company
• Job responsibilities may change within the scope of duties relevant to each department at headquarters due to department transfers or organizational changes.

Career Path

Depending on your aptitude and preferences, there may be opportunities for internal transfers or promotion to leadership roles. Internal transfers can include a wide range of possibilities, such as changes in duties or teams within the Customer Center, as well as transfers to other departments within GU Headquarters (e.g., product, retail, e-commerce) or to other brands.

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in project management (e.g., strategic consulting, strategic/planning experience at a business company, corporate strategy experience, etc.)
• Ability to identify root causes of issues through data-driven analysis (data analysis) and negotiation skills
• Experience in data analysis utilizing statistical models and machine learning

Desirable Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Business-level English proficiency (While the role currently focuses primarily on domestic operations, there may be opportunities to use English in conjunction with future international expansion)

Annual Salary

• Annual Salary Range: 6.24–10.26 million yen (Monthly Salary: 390,000–570,000 yen)
• Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
• Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
• Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)

*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

Core hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
