The Global Digital Commerce Department, which is responsible for driving the global e-commerce business, is seeking an individual who, as a key business leader working in close collaboration with e-commerce leaders in each country, can take the lead in solving challenges with an eye toward business growth, formulate execution plans, and spearhead e-commerce transformation.

Department Overview

The Business Management Team, to which you will be assigned, serves as the operational hub for our global e-commerce business. Working in coordination with related departments (such as SCM, Customer Service, and IT), the team supports e-commerce business growth by planning and executing all aspects of e-commerce management—including business administration, business development and planning, IT service planning, providing various analyses, resolving challenges in each country and business unit, planning and implementing talent development initiatives, and formulating marketing plans for e-commerce sites.

Job Description

• Identifying challenges in e-commerce operations in each country and driving solutions
• Driving the execution of global e-commerce growth strategies
• Preparing budgets and mid-term business plans for the global e-commerce business as a whole, and managing performance (in collaboration with business unit leaders and e-commerce business managers)

*We are looking for individuals who can proactively identify and resolve issues in collaboration with domestic and international stakeholders, and who can drive the organization beyond their own department to achieve results-oriented goals.
*You will start with a project where you can best utilize your experience, and there is a possibility you will take on a wide range of responsibilities that contribute to the growth of the e-commerce business, extending beyond the scope described here.
* Depending on project requirements, there may be opportunities for international business travel.

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• At least 3 years of experience in business strategy, business planning, or business development—either for your own company or for a client—at a business company or consulting firm
• Language Skills (Business-level English proficiency, native-level Japanese proficiency)
• Individuals who are motivated not only to develop strategies but also to dive into day-to-day operations and drive transformations forward

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• Experience in people management
• Experience leading projects involving a cross-functional team of internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in global management strategy and business planning

Annual Salary

• Annual Salary Range: 8–20 million yen (Monthly Salary: 450,000–1,180,000 yen)
• Allowances: Regional allowance, commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
• Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
• Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)

*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.
