■ Department Overview
The Procurement Management Team within the Global Planning and Management Department—a division of the Fast Retailing Group’s Global Headquarters (GHQ)—collaborates with various departments across all global businesses in the indirect procurement domain. The team drives low-cost management and ensures the thorough implementation of proper procurement processes and governance through the development of supplier strategies, cost-reduction initiatives, and sourcing execution. It is committed to creating world-class procurement processes and systems, and plays a key role in driving global growth and profit structure transformation.

■Job Description
Thorough implementation and promotion of company-wide supplier management and low-cost management
・Achieving transaction quality and cost optimization through the formulation of supplier strategies and the development and execution of action plans with each supplier
・Lead efforts to carry out a transformation of the profit structure and resolve challenges through company-wide reduction and optimization of indirect material costs
・Cost reduction initiatives through direct negotiations with suppliers, global sourcing, and budget optimization
・Supporting cost reduction initiatives for overseas operations

Ensuring compliance with proper procurement processes and maintaining governance
・Establishing proper processes and governance in procurement and related areas through problem-solving and procurement training
・Achieve process standardization and efficiency improvements, as well as the advancement of procurement activities, through system enhancements and the use of AI

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・The ability to identify fundamental issues based on numerical data while maintaining a bird’s-eye view of the entire business through data analysis and on-site observation, as well as strong logical thinking skills
・Leadership and management skills to drive problem-solving and transformation by engaging diverse stakeholders, partner companies, and external departments while building consensus
・A strong service-oriented mindset (someone who is customer-focused and committed to helping others)
・English: Daily conversation level (TOEIC score of 700 or higher is a guideline) or higher is required

■ Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Experience in the accounting department of a trading company or operating company, or experience supporting corporate management at a bank (no prior experience in purchasing or procurement is required)
・Experience with structural transformations and cost improvements in business management and operations
・Experience in indirect purchasing or procurement planning at an operating company
・Knowledge or industry experience in the fields of IT, logistics, or marketing
・Skills in negotiating prices and terms with business partners, regardless of the field
・English: Business level (able to communicate on an equal footing with representatives of overseas subsidiaries)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 6.72–12.96 million yen (Monthly Salary: 420,000–720,000 yen)

・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
