You will leverage your expertise in visual design, information architecture, and user-centered interaction design across various devices and channels to collaborate with engineers and creative directors in delivering the best possible user experience.

Job Description

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be involved in the development of the UNIQLO mobile app.
Based on our business policies, you will formulate and execute product strategies from the customer’s perspective. This involves building consensus with stakeholders and relevant departments, as well as creating UI and UX designs in collaboration with design team members across various domains, in accordance with Fast Retailing’s UI and UX principles.In addition, you will define business and development requirements; conduct cross-analysis of qualitative research (in collaboration with UX researchers) and quantitative research using tools such as Google Analytics; and perform product management tasks, including design handoffs to relevant development teams and vendor management.
For each product, you will create and distribute guidelines for global rollout and implementation, and provide development and operational support in each country.

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• At least 3 years of UI/UX design experience
• Design experience in Japanese and English
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Mac
• Knowledge of mobile design for platforms such as iOS and Android

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with Google Analytics, mobile development, and programming
• Experience in various aspects of UX/UI development—including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes—as well as web design

Annual Salary

• Annual Salary Range: 6.56–14.00 million yen (Monthly Salary: 410,000–780,000 yen)
• Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
• Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
• Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)

*In addition to the above, compensation will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience

Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Flexible hours…6:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Overtime may be required

Holidays and Leave

Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are considered workdays). Annual paid leave, special leave (including leave for weddings and funerals), and childcare and family care leave programs, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
