In this position, you will be responsible for developing advanced materials for further manufacturing transformation in the Global Merchandise Division and Production Department, which are in charge of realizing the brand concept.
Outline of the department
The Global Merchandise Division/Production Department, to which you will be assigned, is in charge of product planning and quality control, as well as the realization of product plans and the streamlining of the entire supply chain related to production. By leveraging strong partnerships with sewing factories and material factories, the department is responsible for full control of product development, manufacturing, and shipping, ensuring the highest level of QCD (quality, price, and delivery) at all times. Most recently, in order to respond to global business expansion and diversifying customer needs, we have been working to build a system that enables stable and flexible production while ensuring sustainability, and we are also promoting initiatives to procure cotton, feathers, and flax, the raw materials of our clothing, from designated farms.

The position is responsible for material development and improvement from short-, medium-, and long-term perspectives throughout the entire process. In the planning stage, the direction of development is set with the MD and designers based on customer feedback and market trends, and in the mass production stage, management of material products is carried out in all aspects, from production control to quality control.
While building good partnerships with internal stakeholders responsible for product planning and with material factories collaborating with us in development work, we will formulate and execute globally optimal procurement strategies and lead the realization of innovative manufacturing.

At least 5 years of experience in material planning and development at a textile manufacturer, trading company, apparel company, etc.
Project management and problem solving skills
