Job Description

■Recruitment Background:
For the Fast Retailing Group—a global enterprise aiming for 10 trillion yen in revenue—the Planning and Management Department is indispensable. It builds a solid financial foundation and serves as the driving force behind company-wide transformation and profit growth.
We are seeking a core member of the Finance Team who will go beyond the role of a mere “treasurer” for our global operations and proactively lead the identification and resolution of management challenges while considering the company’s overall profit structure.

■Department Overview:
The Finance Team is responsible not only for financial operations within the Fast Retailing Group but also for understanding global financial markets and regulations to maximize cash flow and ensure the reliable fulfillment of payment obligations. Furthermore, by anticipating financial risks and implementing countermeasures, as well as optimizing fund management and procurement, we aim to build a solid financial foundation that supports corporate growth.

■Job Description:
The Finance Team handles a wide range of responsibilities, including yen and foreign currency payments, foreign exchange risk hedging, multi-currency cash management, vendor screening, settlement of import and export transactions, and establishing trade flows in new countries.
We also handle a variety of daily financial transactions, including collaboration with financial institutions such as banks and securities firms, as well as settlements, fund management and procurement, and foreign exchange transactions. Furthermore, as the global headquarters, we formulate internal control policies and monitor and guide their implementation.
These responsibilities are divided among several teams. Based on your suitability as determined during the selection process, you will be assigned to a team where you will lead the identification and resolution of challenges while collaborating with team members.

■Career Path
In addition to a career path focused on deepening your expertise as a finance specialist, flexible transfers to other functions within the Planning and Management Department—such as Corporate Planning, Accounting, Tax, Investor Relations, and Procurement Management—are possible based on your individual capabilities and career plans. There is also the possibility of being assigned overseas as a Corporate Planning manager or CFO.

Qualifications

■Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・At least 3 years of experience in the financial accounting department of a global corporation or a general trading company
・Or at least 3 years of experience in asset management, lending, or related roles at a financial institution

■ Preferred Experience, Skills, and Competencies
・General numerical literacy (analysis, accuracy, etc.)
・Experience at an accounting consulting firm or audit firm
・Business-level English reading, writing, and speaking skills (TOEIC score of 700 or higher)

Full-time employee (permanent position, with a 3-month probationary period)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 6.72–12.96 million yen (Monthly Salary: 420,000–720,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, not limited to the above.

Flexible work hours, or managerial/supervisory positions
・Flexible work hours
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

・Supervisors
Based on the working hours of the employee’s department, with the decision left to the employee

■ Holidays and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
