Job Description
■ Background of the Opening
As the driving force behind the Fast Retailing Group’s company-wide transformation and profit growth, the Planning and Management Department is responsible for building a solid foundation to support a “global company with 3 trillion yen in revenue” and, as the global headquarters, serves as the financial guardian for operations in each country. We are seeking a candidate who can proactively lead the identification and resolution of management challenges while considering the company’s overall profit structure.
■Department Overview
The Data Accuracy Team, which supports the growth of the Fast Retailing Group, manages the flow of merchandise (business processes and systems) from production factories to stores and accurately reports inventory information to management. You will lead efforts to resolve merchandise management issues that arise in daily operations and to review business processes and systems to adapt to rapid business changes.

As the Fast Retailing Group’s Head of Merchandise Management, you will be responsible for accelerating business transformations and improvements on a global scale to ensure the accurate management of all company merchandise.
Additionally, your mission will include identifying operational challenges based on communication with frontline teams (stores, warehouses, and factories), operational KPIs, management information, and daily inquiries, and driving operational improvements in collaboration with both frontline teams and management.

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・At least 3 years of practical experience in inventory management at a warehouse or retail company
・Or at least 3 years of experience in business consulting for the warehouse or retail industry at a consulting firm
・English proficiency (ability to communicate in English)
■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Microsoft Access (queries, macros, VBA)
・Ability to proactively engage others and solve problems
・At least 3 years of practical experience in inventory management at a warehouse or retail company
・Or at least 3 years of experience in business consulting for the warehouse or retail industry at a consulting firm
・English proficiency (ability to communicate in English)

■Annual Salary
・Annual salary range: 6.72–12.96 million yen (Monthly salary: 420,000–720,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

Flexible work hours or managerial/supervisory role
・Flexible work schedule
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Flexible hours…6:00–9:00 and 14:00–20:00 (Overtime may be required)

Based on the working hours of the employee’s department; left to the employee’s discretion

Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are workdays) Annual paid leave, special leave (including leave for weddings and bereavement), childcare and family care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
