Job Description
Recruitment Background
We have been promoting direct imports in the production and logistics area of our supply chain (international transportation from the producing country to the selling country and customs clearance). We have changed from leaving everything to trading companies and forwarders to doing everything on our own. We have been able to respond quickly to irregularities such as wars, disasters, and strikes, and we have also implemented HS code numbering and FTA/EPA validation. We are looking for people who can continue to take fundamental measures to address various issues related to customs clearance and trade.
■Department Overview
The Production & Logistics Team of the Global Supply Chain Management Department is responsible for the creation of a series of supply chain systems from production countries (China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc.) to sales countries (countries with stores and e-commerce services around the world) to realize our mission of "ensuring that customers have the products they want, when they want them, where they want them, and in the quantities they want them". This department is responsible for the creation of a series of supply chain systems from production countries (China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc.) to sales countries (countries with stores and e-commerce services around the world) to promote sophistication and efficiency. In order to achieve the business sales plan (delivery of necessary items in necessary quantities at necessary times), nearly 50 members in production countries and Japan plan, review, and execute transportation to sales countries. The Customs Clearance Team, a member of the Production and Logistics Team, is a team that works to create and realize a customs compliance system to ensure that import declarations are made appropriately and smoothly.
■ Job Description
The team is responsible for the creation and implementation of a proper and smooth customs compliance system for import declarations.
You will be responsible for the management of the customs area of the cost of goods.
You will be responsible for managing the customs area of the cost of goods, explaining to the accounting team the reasons for variances between actual and forecast, and responding to inquiries from the production department regarding customs duty rates.
The role will also be responsible for the global deployment of the customs compliance system established in Japan and its implementation in the countries where the products are sold.
You will communicate with the relevant departments and promote the achievement of the goal by yourself.

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
Experience in customs clearance (import/export declaration document preparation, HS numbering or determination, handling of advance instructions, handling of post investigation, etc.)
Consultation and negotiation with customs
Knowledge of trade practices (FTA/EPA)
Experience in import/export and tri-nation trade practices
Ability to work on issues with the cooperation of others and take the lead in resolving them.
Ability to work in a team and cooperate with others
Business level of English

Customs broker certification
Experience in obtaining AEO
