Job Description
■Recruitment Background
At the Fast Retailing Group, we are not treating our e-commerce business as just another retail division; instead, the entire company is working together globally to “make e-commerce our core business” and is undergoing a major transformation of the business itself. We are seeking a Web Director who can help lead this effort to make e-commerce our core business by creating e-commerce sites that are easier for customers to use and provide greater satisfaction.
■About the Department
The Global Digital Commerce Department oversees e-commerce operations not only in Japan but globally, handling all aspects of the e-commerce business, including business planning, development, photography, and design.
The Global E-Commerce Business Management Team, to which you will be assigned, is responsible for developing global business plans, producing content such as branding materials and feature pages, and designing the user experience for our e-commerce sites and apps—all to provide customers with the world’s best e-commerce shopping experience that conveys the essence of LifeWear.
■Job Description
In this role, you will propose designs based on both business strategy and user experience, and be involved in the creative production of various digital content and the design of e-commerce storefronts. For example, you will work with the relevant business divisions to create content and e-commerce storefronts—such as pages that attractively showcase seasonal collections, e-commerce storefronts that are easy for customers of all ages and genders to navigate, live commerce pages, and content that conveys the worldview of collaborative products—and lead the direction of UI/UX design and creative production from the early stages.
Specifically, depending on your experience, you will be expected to perform the following tasks:
・Creating UX scenarios, designing site structures, producing wireframes, and managing production schedules
・Leading projects such as UI/UX improvements and new feature development
・UI/UX improvements based on A/B testing
・Improving global e-commerce operations based on business expansion strategies, and collaborating with internal and external teams
・Planning, production, and improvement of special feature sites and microsites, as well as their global rollout
・Directing user research, including user testing and interviews
・Web analytics and report creation
・Collaborative projects with external partner companies and brands

・At least 3 years of experience in web direction
・Experience in UI design, such as creating wireframes
・Communication and negotiation skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and build relationships with external partner companies
・Knowledge of web production, UI/UX design, web design, and front-end development

・Experience in KPI design, web analytics, and reporting, as well as implementing strategies to improve website conversion rates
・Project planning and management skills
・Experience using various creative tools such as Figma and Adobe CC
・Experience and expertise in e-commerce, digital marketing, and SEO
・Experience and knowledge in customer research, group interviews, and user testing
・Knowledge of the apparel and fashion industries

・Annual Salary Range: 6.56–12.60 million yen (Monthly Salary: 410,000–700,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
