Job Description

■Recruitment Background
At the Fast Retailing Group, we are transforming our e-commerce business fundamentally—not just as one retail operation, but to achieve "e-commerce as our core business." The entire global organization is united in this effort. We are seeking a Web Designer to co-lead this transformation by creating e-commerce sites that are easier for customers to use and more satisfying.
We seek designers who can infuse Fast Retailing's DNA into digital design, bringing innovative ideas and a passion for design. We expect you to leverage your expertise in visual design across devices and channels, your ability to create compelling and effective content, and your UI/UX design skills to advance site development—including branding content and feature pages—and the experience design of our e-commerce sites and apps.

■About the Assigned Department
The Global Digital Commerce Department oversees e-commerce operations not only in Japan but globally, handling all aspects of the business including commercial planning, development, photography, and design.
The Global E-Commerce Operations Team, where you will be assigned, develops global business plans, creates content like branding materials and feature pages, and designs the experience for e-commerce sites and apps. Together, we deliver the world's premier e-commerce marketplace to convey the essence of LifeWear to our customers.

■Job Description
This position involves proposing designs from both business strategy and user experience perspectives, engaging in creative production for various digital content and e-commerce marketplace design.
For example, you will collaborate with the responsible business division to create content and e-commerce spaces such as pages that attractively convey seasonal collections, e-commerce spaces that are easy for people of all ages and genders to shop, live commerce pages, and expressions of the worldview for collaboration products. You will participate from the upstream phase in UI/UX design and creative production.

Specifically, depending on your experience, the following tasks are anticipated:
・Creative production and management for Japanese and global sites
・Establishing and managing global design guidelines, sharing and coordinating with each country
・Creating navigation frames and graphics accompanying content updates
・Improving UI/UX based on A/B testing
・Experience design based on numerical analysis
・Asset creation including icons and illustrations
・Planning, production, improvement, and global rollout of feature sites and microsites
・Design presentations to relevant departments
・Design supervision and collaboration with external partners

*The Job Description may change within the scope of duties related to each department at headquarters due to department transfers or organizational changes.

■Position Highlights
・Through branding and creative production for UNIQLO and GU e-commerce sites visited by customers worldwide, you'll experience an environment where the significant impact on society and the scale of the business are readily apparent.
・Opportunity to challenge yourself in creating new customer shopping experiences by integrating stores and e-commerce sites across all countries and regions worldwide.

■Career Path
・You can expect career advancement opportunities as a specialist or manager in digital fields such as e-commerce and web.
・As a UI/UX designer within the IT department's EC team, you may also be involved in UI/UX design for both the EC site and apps.
