To create an e-commerce site that is easier for customers to use and provides greater satisfaction, we are seeking individuals who can efficiently and swiftly manage daily site operations, proactively drive service improvements, and help lead the effort to make e-commerce our core business.

Department Overview

The mission of the Global E-Commerce Operations Team, to which you will be assigned, extends beyond the creation and operation of e-commerce sites for Fast Retailing Group brands such as UNIQLO, GU, and PLST; it is to drive the growth of the entire business and enhance customer satisfaction. Through the management and improvement of digital content (such as images and product information) on each brand’s e-commerce site, we convey the value of our products to customers in an appealing and accurate manner.Furthermore, as the global headquarters, we take the lead in improving operational and management workflows for global e-commerce sites, as well as planning and rolling out global operations when introducing new features and services.

Job Description

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for projects to optimize operations—specifically regarding the creation of product detail pages—and for improving content, with the goal of creating an environment that makes shopping easier for customers visiting each brand’s e-commerce site.

(1) Operational Optimization

• Operational and workflow improvements related to the registration of product information
• Promoting automation and efficiency (requirements definition, operational coordination, development coordination)
• Project management within your team (e.g., major updates to the entire e-commerce platform)

(2) E-commerce Site Content Improvement

• Planning and implementation of improvements to the information, content, and features provided to customers, primarily on product detail pages
• Designing business processes and driving system development to achieve the above

(3) Establishing and managing a structure comprising multiple outsourcing partners (tens of employees) and the in-house team (a few to just under 10 employees)

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience leading projects related to business transformation, service improvement, or product enhancement at a company that operates its own e-commerce site or owns its own IT products

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• At least 3 years of experience operating an e-commerce site
• Experience managing an e-commerce site in the apparel industry or the retail sector
• Experience in planning, implementing, and operating business automation systems
• Experience managing external contractors
• English proficiency (TOEIC score of 600 or higher is preferred)

Annual Salary

• Annual Salary Range: 8–12.6 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000–700,000 yen)
• Allowances: Regional allowance, commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
• Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
• Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)

*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.
