At UNIQLO, in addition to traditional paid media communications such as promotions and advertising, we place a strong emphasis on information dissemination through earned media, centered on PR and digital channels. We are developing and executing new communication strategies designed to make a global impact and be embraced worldwide. The PR organization plays a central role in this effort, and we are seeking PR professionals capable of planning and executing a wide range of communication initiatives.
■Department Overview
The PR Team develops and executes PR and communication plans designed to increase awareness and drive sales for UNIQLO’s products and various projects, such as collaboration initiatives. We aim to help customers worldwide understand, through the media and stakeholders, that UNIQLO is a brand with a unique philosophy of clothing design not found elsewhere, and to turn them into fans of “LifeWear,” the concept behind UNIQLO’s product development.
■Job Description
Based on the brand concept of “LifeWear,” you will plan and execute communication strategies for various products and projects.
Specifically, this includes the following:
・Collaborating with UNIQLO PR representatives in each country to develop country-specific PR strategies
・Planning and executing domestic and international events and promotions, such as trade shows and preview events
・Building cooperative relationships with various media outlets (including newspapers, TV, and publishers) and diverse stakeholders
・Visualizing the effectiveness of PR activities and ensuring accurate internal feedback on external feedback and insights
・The Job Description may change depending on department transfers or organizational restructuring, within the scope of duties related to each department at headquarters.

Qualifications
■Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
(1) Experience in any of the following
・Experience in PR or marketing at a company in the cosmetics, consumer goods, or luxury goods sectors
・Experience with B2C PR projects at a PR agency
・Experience in marketing, advertising, or sales at a publishing company, advertising agency, TV station, record label, or film distribution company
(2) TOEIC score of 700 or higher, or equivalent English proficiency (for use in internal and external meetings and emails)
■ Desirable Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Deep knowledge of culture and trends, including not only fashion but also books, art, and music
・Relationships with professionals in various media industries

・Annual Salary Range: 7.04 million yen – 13.5 million yen (Monthly Salary: 440,000 yen – 750,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, in addition to the above.

Flexible work hours or managerial/supervisory position
・Flexible work hours
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

Based on the working hours of the employee’s department, with the decision left to the employee
■ Holidays and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
