Job Description

Background
UNIQLO is emphasizing the transmission of information through earned media, centered on PR and digital media, in addition to traditional paid media communications such as advertising and promotional materials. The PR organization plays a central role in this process, and we are looking for PR professionals who can plan and execute a variety of communication methods.

■Outline of the Department
The PR team is responsible for developing and executing PR and communication plans to increase awareness and sales of UNIQLO's products, collaborations, and other projects. The PR team also aims to increase understanding of UNIQLO as a brand with a unique clothing concept that no other company has, through the media and stakeholders around the world, and to make people fans of UNIQLO's "LifeWear" product creation concept.

■ Job Description
Based on the "LifeWear" brand concept, you will plan and execute communication plans for each product and project.
Specifically, we expect the following
Work with UNIQLO's PR staff in each country to develop PR strategies for each country.
Planning and execution of events and promotions in Japan and overseas, such as exhibitions and previews
Build cooperative relationships with various media outlets (newspapers, TV, publishers, etc.) and other stakeholders.
Visualize the effects of PR activities and provide accurate feedback of external opinions and findings to the company.
Job Description may be subject to change within the scope of the work related to each department of the headquarters as a result of departmental changes or reorganization.

■ Position Features
As a global brand, UNIQLO operates more than 2,000 stores in 26 countries and regions, including Japan, and this position can be considered the "face of the brand. As the head quarter PR person, you will be responsible for planning and executing communication measures to disseminate information on the global stage. This is a large scale job that will expand the brand value from a global perspective, increase the number of fans, and lead to dramatic growth in business.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
(1)Experience in any of the following
Experience in PR or marketing at a cosmetics, consumer goods, or luxury brand company
Experience in PR projects for B-to-C products at a PR agency
Experience in marketing, advertising, or sales at a publishing company, advertising agency, TV station, record company, or movie distribution company
(2)TOEIC score of 700 or above or equivalent English skills (for use in internal and external meetings and emails)

■Welcome experience, skills and abilities
Deep knowledge of culture and trends, not only fashion, but also books, paintings, music, etc.
Relationships with various media industry professionals

■Annual Income
Annual salary range: 7.2 to 13.14 million yen (monthly salary: 450,000 to 730,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with company regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
