Job Description

■Recruitment Background
At UNIQLO, we place significant emphasis on information dissemination through earned media, centered on PR and digital, in addition to our traditional paid media communications like advertising. We are advancing the planning and execution of new communication strategies that make a global impact and are accepted worldwide. The PR organization plays a central role in this effort, and we are seeking PR professionals capable of planning and executing diverse communication approaches.

■Department Overview
The PR team develops and executes PR and communication plans to enhance awareness and drive sales for UNIQLO products and collaborative projects. We aim to communicate UNIQLO's unique approach to clothing design—unmatched by other brands—to customers worldwide through media and stakeholders, fostering fans of our "LifeWear" concept.

■Job Description
Based on the brand concept "LifeWear," you will plan and execute communication strategies for individual products and projects.
Specifically, this includes:
・Collaborate with UNIQLO PR teams in each country to develop country-specific PR strategies
・Planning and executing events and promotions both domestically and internationally, such as exhibitions and preview events
・Building cooperative relationships with various media outlets (including newspapers, TV, and publishers) and diverse stakeholders
・Visualizing the effectiveness of PR activities and providing accurate internal feedback on external opinions and insights
・The Job Description may change within the scope of tasks related to various headquarters departments due to department transfers or organizational changes.

■Position Highlights
This role represents the "face of the brand" for UNIQLO, a global brand operating over 2,000 stores across 26 countries and regions, including Japan. As a PR specialist at headquarters, you will drive the planning and execution of communication initiatives that disseminate information on the global stage. It is a high-impact role that expands brand value from a global perspective, increases fans, and propels business toward exponential growth.

Qualifications

■Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
(1) Experience in any of the following
・PR or marketing experience at a business company in industries such as cosmetics, consumer goods, or luxury brands
・Experience managing PR projects for B2C products at a PR agency
・Experience in marketing, advertising, or sales at a publishing company, advertising agency, TV station, record label, or film distribution company
(2) TOEIC score of 700 or higher, or equivalent English proficiency (required for internal/external meetings and emails)

■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Deep knowledge of culture and trends, including but not limited to fashion, books, art, and music
・Relationships with key players across various media industries

Work Condition

Full-time Employee (Indefinite term, with a 3-month probationary period)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: ¥7,040,000 - ¥13,500,000 (Monthly Salary: ¥440,000 - ¥750,000)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (Payment and amount determined based on company performance and personnel evaluation)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluation)
*Salary will be determined based on company policy, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, not limited to the above.

■Working Hours
Flextime system or managerial/supervisory role
・Flextime system
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours, Break: 1 hour
Core time: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Flexible hours: 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)
・Supervisory Staff
Based on the working hours of the assigned department, determined by the employee

■Holidays & Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are workdays) Annual paid leave, special/bereavement leave, childcare/nursing care leave systems, etc.
※Special leave granted in the first and second halves of the year, separate from paid leave (number of days varies by employment type and company)
