Outline of the Department
The mission of this department is to contribute to the management decision-making of the entire group by identifying and resolving essential issues in cooperation with all parties, both domestic and overseas, as the controlling department of the group's global legal function.
Organization: 1 general manager, 3 legal team leaders, 12 legal team members (Legal & Compliance Department consists of 3 teams: Legal Team, Intellectual Property Team, and Compliance Team)

Job Description
As the department overseeing the global legal function, the Legal & Compliance Department is responsible for legal-related operations at the Company's group companies.
Details are as follows
Prepare, review, and negotiate various contracts with domestic and overseas business partners.
Research and compilation of relevant Japanese and overseas laws and regulations for various transactions and product development projects, as well as analysis and proposal of legal risk analysis and risk mitigation measures based on this research and compilation.
Assistance in case clarification, legal analysis and resolution of various problems arising in Japan and overseas, assistance in formulating and implementing preventive measures against recurrence, and proactive promotion of disputes.
Promote awareness-raising, education and training, establishment of systems, and implementation to improve legal compliance within the Group.
Other governance management, legal compliance management, legal advice, etc.

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
Qualification as a lawyer in Japan and/or major foreign countries
At least 5 years of experience working in a domestic or foreign law firm or equivalent legal work experience
Ability to review and draft contracts in English and Japanese, and negotiate internally and with clients
Ability to analyze facts and laws and to resolve issues and disputes based on such analysis

Experience studying, training and working abroad in English-speaking countries

Annual salary
Annual salary range: 10-21 million yen (monthly salary: 570,000-1 million yen)
