In a world undergoing rapid transformation due to the COVID-19 pandemic and digitalization, our Information Security Office is tasked with protecting our customers’ valuable information and all confidential company data, while ensuring a secure business environment essential for our growth. For this position, we are seeking a leader to oversee security risk assessment activities across the entire Fast Retailing Group.

■Department Overview
The Information Security Office, to which you will be assigned, is an organization reporting directly to the CSO with the mission to “transform security, create an environment where customers worldwide can shop with peace of mind, and provide an environment where employees can perform their duties safely.” As the global headquarters, we work closely with local ISO organizations overseas. Additionally, half of our members based in Japan are foreign nationals, creating a highly diverse environment.As a small, elite team, we maintain close ties with senior management, and a flat organizational culture is one of our defining characteristics.

■ Job Description
・Evaluating and reviewing security controls for various projects
・Formulation and revision of security risk assessment criteria, and establishment of security risk assessment processes
・Development and revision of security risk assessment tools
・Evaluating and reviewing business processes related to the handling of personal and confidential information
・Verifying and correcting the information handling practices of partner companies to which the handling of personal and confidential information is outsourced
・Verification and correction of PCI/DSS compliance
・Conducting training on rules and evaluation methods related to the above security risk assessments
・Global rollout of the above measures
・Other information security-related tasks for the company’s risk management
*The Job Description may change within the scope of duties related to each department of the headquarters due to departmental transfers or organizational changes.

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Experience in building business processes
・Analytical ability to identify substantive risks from a business perspective and effectively encourage improvements
・Communication and negotiation skills to explain concepts clearly and appropriately to different audiences
・Ability to thoroughly read and understand official documents
・Excellent communication skills in English (TOEIC score of 800 or higher: proficiency in both spoken and written English)
・Excellent communication skills in Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1)

■ Desirable Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Work experience related to security risk assessment as described in the "Job Description"
・Information security certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.)
・Work experience and knowledge in the retail industry

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 6.56 million yen – 13.5 million yen (Monthly Salary: 410,000 yen – 750,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)

Core hours: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)
