■ Department Overview
The Digital Business Transformation Services Department is committed to defining the “ideal state” of business operations from the customer’s perspective and leading and realizing business transformation through the use of the latest IT technologies. To realize the “Ariake Project,” we are rapidly advancing in-house development of core systems—primarily supply chain systems—in addition to e-commerce and store systems. A wide range of professionals, including project managers, in-house development engineers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers, are actively contributing to this effort.Cloud Infrastructure Engineers and Network Engineers belong to the “Infrastructure Team” and consistently lead the design, construction, and operation of infrastructure for all Group and global brands.

■Job Description
・Planning, designing, and implementing global network configurations for next-generation systems utilizing cloud services
・Standardization, design, and implementation of optimal store networks tailored to customer service and digital app deployment across more than 3,500 stores worldwide
・Design and implementation of networks to support the expansion of global locations (offices, warehouses, data centers, etc.)
・Optimizing network resource utilization and planning/implementing security measures using proxy servers, firewalls, WAN acceleration, SDN, CDN, SSL-VPN, and other technologies provided via cloud services or data centers

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Experience in the design, development, and operation of IT systems and networks (at least 3 years of practical experience in any of these areas)
・A sense of ownership that enables you to solve problems in a concrete and individualized manner, from requirements definition through to operations, rather than just focusing on construction and development
・Leadership that enables you to proactively identify issues, engage others globally, and resolve problems with attention to detail
・Experience in organizational or project management, or in mentoring subordinates and junior staff
・A positive attitude toward working in an environment where English is used on a daily basis *Fluency or prior work experience in English is not required at this stage.

■ Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities (*At least one of the following areas of expertise or experience is required)
・Planning, building, and operating global networks optimized for the cloud era
・Planning and implementation of measures to streamline the construction and operation of networks for stores and offices with multiple global locations

・Annual Salary Range: 6.56 million yen – 14.94 million yen (Monthly Salary: 410,000 yen – 830,000 yen)

・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
