Fast Retailing Group is currently promoting the "Ariake Project," a company-wide transformation to become a "Digital Consumer Retail Company" that transcends the traditional framework of a retailer. We are promoting the "Ariake Project," a company-wide reform to transform ourselves into a "Digital Consumer Retail Company. In order to achieve this, our Digital Business Transformation Service Department is leading the transformation of the entire company, not only promoting globalization, cloud computing, and mobility by utilizing the latest technologies, but also as an "offensive IT" (IT that generates profit). In this position, you will lead the optimization, implementation, and management of the global network, store and office network, cloud network, and data center services as a network engineer at the global headquarters.
■Department Overview
The mission of the Digital Business Transformation Service Department is to define the "ideal" business operations from the customer's perspective, and to lead and realize business transformation using the latest IT technology. In order to realize the "Ariake Project", we are accelerating the in-house development of core systems centered on supply chain as well as EC and store systems. A wide range of personnel are active in this field, including project managers, in-house development engineers, data scientists, UI/UX designers, and others. Cloud infrastructure engineers and network engineers belong to the "Infrastructure Team" and consistently lead the design, construction, and operation of infrastructure for all Group and global brands.
Job Description
Review, design, and implementation of global network configuration for next-generation systems that utilize cloud services.
Standardize, design, and implement the optimal store network for the introduction of customer service and digital applications in more than 3,500 stores worldwide.
Network design and implementation for global locations (offices, warehouses, data centers, etc.)
Optimization of network resource usage and security measures using proxy servers, firewalls, WAN acceleration, SDN, CDN, SSL-VPN, etc. provided by cloud services or data centers.

Experience in design, development, and operation of IT systems and networks (at least 3 years of experience in any of these areas)
A sense of ownership to be able to solve specific problems from requirement definition to operation as well as construction and development
Leadership skills to identify issues on one's own and solve them proactively, globally, and with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in English (TOEIC score of 800 or above: ability to use English both orally and in writing)
