Job Description
■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing Group is promoting a company-wide transformation initiative known as the “Ariake Project” to transform its business model from traditional retail into a “Digital Consumer Retail Company,” transcending the conventional framework of retail. To achieve this, our Digital Business Transformation Services Department is leading company-wide transformation by not only driving globalization, cloud adoption, and mobile transformation using the latest technologies, but also by implementing IT that generates profits—what we call “proactive IT.”
For this position, we are seeking a transformation agent to serve as a member of the IT Strategy Office and act as the right-hand person to the CIO, formulating IT strategies for the entire Group and overseeing various initiatives to bring them to fruition.
■ Department Overview
The Digital Business Transformation Services Department’s mission is to define the “ideal state” of business operations from the customer’s perspective and to lead and implement business transformation utilizing the latest IT technologies. To realize the company-wide “Ariake Project,” we are accelerating in-house development of core systems—primarily supply chain systems—in addition to e-commerce and store systems. A wide range of professionals, including project managers, in-house development engineers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers, are actively contributing to this effort.
The IT Strategy Office is responsible for the overall management of the IT department—including investment management, organizational and human resource management, and IT governance—from strategy formulation to execution, taking into account people, resources, finances, and partners.

・Formulation of medium- to long-term IT investment plans, project issue management, and ROI monitoring
・Planning and implementation of cost structure transformation measures

・Annual Salary Range: 8–18.72 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000–1,040,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
