Job Description
■ Background of the Opening
As the driving force behind FR’s company-wide transformation and profit growth, the Planning and Management Department is responsible for building a solid financial foundation to support a “global company with 3 trillion yen in revenue” and, as the Group Headquarters (GHQ), serves as the financial steward for operations in each country. We are seeking a candidate who can proactively lead the identification and resolution of management challenges while considering the company’s overall profit structure.
■Department Overview
As the CFO function that informs the company’s critical decision-making, the department identifies business challenges, develops action plans based on these findings, and drives solutions by engaging other departments. In addition to formulating and managing budgets and mid-term business plans for the entire group and individual business units, the department conducts accounting and finance training centered on the P&L statement for sales teams. This initiative aims to enhance employees’ accounting knowledge, facilitate the identification of numerical challenges, and foster a culture where everyone is involved in management.

Based on the duties outlined above, the primary responsibilities of the position being recruited for are: 1) managing business plans for domestic operations (UNIQLO, GU, Theory, and PLST); 2) managing Group business plans (supporting the CEOs and CFOs of each business unit from the Group Headquarters); and 3) managing global UNIQLO business plans.

・Practical experience and knowledge in accounting and finance at a business company, combined with experience in corporate planning, management control, and business planning
・Experience at an accounting consulting firm or an audit firm

・Strong negotiation and communication skills
・Individuals who can demonstrate leadership and followership to achieve results as part of a team
・English proficiency is preferred, as there is a possibility of being assigned to an overseas post in the future. Even if you lack confidence in your English skills, we welcome candidates who are motivated to work hard to acquire them.

・Annual Salary Range: 8.5 million yen – 15.76 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000 yen – 870,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
