As the driving force behind FR’s company-wide transformation and profit growth, the Planning and Management Department is responsible for building a solid financial foundation to support our “3 trillion yen global enterprise” and serves as the “treasurer” for our international operations. We are seeking a candidate who can proactively identify and resolve management challenges while considering the company’s overall profit structure.

■ Department Overview
As a CFO function that drives critical corporate decision-making, the department identifies business challenges, develops action plans based on these findings, and drives solutions by engaging other departments. In addition to formulating and managing budgets and mid-term business plans for the entire group and individual businesses, the department conducts accounting and finance training centered on P&L statements for sales teams. This initiative aims to enhance employees’ accounting knowledge, facilitate the identification of numerical challenges, and foster a culture where everyone participates in management.

■Job Description
Based on the duties outlined above, the primary responsibilities of this position include: 1) managing business plans for domestic operations (UNIQLO, GU, Theory, and PLST); 2) managing group-wide business plans (supporting the CEOs and CFOs of each business unit from the Group Headquarters); and 3) managing global UNIQLO business plans.

Since the Planning and Control Department encompasses all functions related to management figures—including business planning, accounting, finance, and tax—we can consider flexible transfers based on your individual abilities, preferences, and career plans. There is also the possibility of being assigned overseas as a business planning manager or CFO.

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Practical experience and knowledge in accounting and finance at a business company, along with experience in corporate planning, management control, and business planning
・Experience at an accounting consulting firm or an audit firm

・Strong negotiation and communication skills
・Individuals who can demonstrate leadership and followership to achieve results as part of a team
・English proficiency is preferred, as there is a possibility of future overseas assignments. Even if you lack confidence in your English skills, we welcome candidates who are motivated to work hard to acquire them.

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 8.5 million yen – 15.76 million yen (Monthly Salary: 500,000 yen – 870,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
