Mission and Job Description for Each Area
The following duties are anticipated for this position. Since many of these tasks are closely interrelated, depending on your specific responsibilities, your assignments may span multiple areas.(1) Factory Working Environment Transformation Team
- To prevent labor issues from arising in the supply chain, this team identifies potential risks, formulates response policies and countermeasures, monitors working conditions, and implements preventive and corrective measures. Additionally, the team communicates these activities both internally and externally (including collaboration with and support for overseas locations).
- Guided by our sustainability statement, “Turning the Power of Clothing into the Power of Society,” we aim to solve social issues and create new value through the apparel business. We contribute to social stability and sustainable development by collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders—including customers, UN agencies, and NGOs—and plan and execute initiatives that make a meaningful impact on both global and local levels.
- In addition to addressing global issues such as climate change and biodiversity, this team implements programs to combat environmental pollution within the supply chain and to realize a circular economy, thereby promoting the reduction of environmental impact.
- With investors and experts as our primary stakeholders, we aim to enhance corporate value by accurately and comprehensively disseminating sustainability-related information to the public.
- Appropriate disclosure of information across various media, centered on Fast Retailing’s corporate website
- Preparation of the Sustainability Report
- ESG Investment Initiatives

Qualifications
Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Individuals who can share the same perspective as senior management and tackle challenges as active agents of change
- Ability to communicate in English and relevant work experience (TOEIC score of 800 or higher recommended)
- Must have experience in one of the following areas

- Experience addressing environmental and labor issues in projects such as the construction of overseas facilities
- Experience working on supply chain development for domestic and international production sites
- Experience conducting climate and environmental surveys in energy-related businesses (coal, solar, wind)
