Job Description

UNIQLO, the core brand of the Fast Retailing Group aiming to become the world's No. 1 apparel company, is seeking next-generation management candidates to drive new product development, sales, and business growth.

To become a global leader, we have shed past successes and continuously adapted to the times. Through LifeWear, we have created a new industry: the "information manufacturing and retail business."
Our concept of LifeWear represents an entirely new approach to clothing, fundamentally redefining the Western-born concept of "apparel."It is clothing designed to enrich the lives of everyone, transcending nationality, race, gender, and age. It embodies aesthetic rationality, being simple, high-quality, and meticulously crafted in every detail. It is everyday wear, thoroughly conceived from lifestyle needs and continuously evolving. To create this LifeWear, we must reflect information from customers worldwide as quickly and efficiently as possible across all business domains—manufacturing, marketing, sales—to continually meet customer demands at ever-higher levels.

Therefore, we are seeking the next generation of product management leaders who will powerfully drive our business growth by continuously creating and delivering products that embody LifeWear to customers worldwide.
We expect future candidates joining us to eventually take on leadership roles as department heads or executives within the Product Division, the core of UNIQLO's business. To achieve this through the fastest possible route, we will create personalized career plans, including assignments and transfers across multiple departments, ensuring you gain the comprehensive business experience required of a product-focused executive.

For example, you may be assigned to the "MD Department," the command center for product development and business strategy, responsible for developing new hit products synonymous with UNIQLO like "HEATTECH," "AIRism," and "Ultra Light Down," and overseeing the sales strategy for planned products. You could also join the "Product Planning Department," which devises and executes plans to maximize sales and profits for our international operations, or the "Marketing Department," which communicates the philosophy and story behind LifeWear to the world.
After assignment to a department, you will first gain experience as a professional in your area of responsibility. We expect you to take on management duties as a team leader at an early stage. While the Merchandising Division includes various other departments beyond those mentioned, we expect you to grow into a talent who can view matters from a high perspective as a business leader in the product domain, optimizing the whole rather than focusing solely on individual departmental optimization.

Additionally, after joining the company, you will work in our physical stores—the very essence of UNIQLO's business—for 1 to 2 years before being assigned to one of the above departments.
The Job Description may change within the scope of work related to each department within the division due to departmental transfers or organizational changes.
