We are seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to drive HR governance both domestically and internationally.
The Labor Relations team to which you will be assigned handles both global and Japan-based matters; however, upon joining the company, you will initially serve as a labor relations specialist for Japan, engaging in the following duties, with the expectation that you will expand your scope of responsibilities to include global matters. Specifically, the following duties are anticipated:

Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM; Overtime may be required

Job Overview
As the FR Group’s Global Headquarters (GHQ), the Japan headquarters is tasked with driving the global business growth of the FR Group and its various brands, which operate approximately 3,600 stores across Asia, Europe, and the United States.The Labor Relations team to which you will be assigned handles both global and Japan-based matters; however, upon joining the company, you will initially serve as a labor relations specialist for Japan, engaging in the following duties, with the expectation that you will expand your scope of responsibilities to include global matters. Specifically, the following duties are anticipated:
- You will primarily handle labor and employment matters involving employees in Japan.
- In addition to handling individual cases, you will lead the development and operation of monitoring systems to prevent problems before they arise, as well as the implementation of training programs.
- We also expect you to introduce policies and systems that enable more flexible and efficient work styles, as well as ways for employees to remain productive over the long term.

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience solving HR and labor-related issues at the operational level
- Individuals who can adopt the same perspective as executives, act as agents of change, and identify and resolve issues while understanding relevant laws and regulations
- Individuals with excellent judgment who can respect each and every employee on the front lines while pursuing an ideal vision
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep knowledge of HR-related laws (such as social insurance laws, the Labor Standards Act, and the Industrial Safety and Health Act) and experience applying this knowledge in practical work
- Team management experience
- A TOEIC score of 800 or higher, or the ability to communicate in English without difficulty in a business setting
