Job Description
■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing (hereinafter “FR”) Group is driving company-wide transformation to create a “new industry” based on the “LifeWear” concept, which transcends traditional industry boundaries.
We are seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to drive HR governance both domestically and internationally.
■Job Overview
As the FR Group’s Global Headquarters (GHQ), the Japan headquarters is tasked with driving the global business growth of the FR Group and its various brands, which operate approximately 3,600 stores across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
The Labor Relations team to which you will be assigned handles both global and Japanese affairs. Initially, you will serve as the labor relations representative for Japan, engaging in the following duties, with the expectation that your scope of responsibility will expand to include global matters. Specifically, the following duties are anticipated:
・You will primarily handle labor and HR matters arising from employees within Japan.
・In addition to handling individual cases, you will lead the development and operation of monitoring systems to prevent issues before they arise, as well as the implementation of training programs.
・We also expect you to introduce systems and policies that enable more flexible and efficient work styles, as well as work arrangements that allow employees to remain productive over the long term.
*Please note that payroll processing, social insurance, and onboarding/offboarding procedures are handled by a separate team and are not included in this role.
*The Job Description may change depending on departmental transfers or organizational restructuring, within the scope of duties related to each department within the headquarters.
■ Future Career Path
While we envision you aiming to become an expert in labor relations and human resources or a business executive, opportunities to engage in management—whether in the areas of people, assets, or finance—are available both domestically and internationally, extending beyond a career solely in human resources. This is an environment where your potential is limitless, depending on your abilities, aptitude, and motivation.
