Job Description
■Recruitment Background
The Fast Retailing (hereinafter “FR”) Group is undergoing a company-wide transformation to create a “new industry” based on the concept of “LifeWear,” which transcends traditional industry boundaries. We are seeking a Global HR Manager at our Global Headquarters (GHQ) to drive HR transformation and governance across our international operations, focusing on “organization and people.”
■Job Overview
FR’s Global Headquarters (GHQ), located in Japan, is tasked with strongly driving the global business growth of the FR Group and its various brands, which operate approximately 3,600 stores across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.While overseas locations have their own HR departments by country or region, the successful candidate will be responsible for multiple regional or country headquarters. You will collaborate with local management and HR departments while maintaining close communication with GHQ department executives to strengthen the organization and develop talent in order to realize the business strategy for each country.
■Specific Responsibilities
While the scope and specific details will vary by individual, the following is an example:
・Organizational design and staffing to implement regional and country business strategies
・Planning and execution of workforce planning (internal transfers, external hiring)
・Planning and execution of global-scale personnel transfers that balance the company’s business needs with individual career needs
・Tracking and visualizing performance evaluations, and developing and implementing individual career plans for development
・Measuring organizational culture and employee engagement, and developing and implementing solutions to identified issues
・Labor and employment compliance
*While you will be responsible for some tasks independently, most will be carried out in collaboration with local management and HR teams. As a result, there will be opportunities to work on-site (in the assigned country).
*The Job Description may change depending on departmental transfers or organizational restructuring, within the scope of duties related to each department at headquarters.

・Someone who shares the same perspective as management and can tackle challenges as a key driver of change
・Individuals with excellent judgment who can respect each employee on the front lines while pursuing the ideal vision
■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Individuals who have been involved in transformation projects in corporate planning or business planning roles at a business company, or who have experience as an HR Business Partner
・Individuals with at least three years of experience at a consulting firm, including experience working on-site at client locations
・Individuals capable of communicating in English without difficulty in a business context
・Someone who shares the same perspective as management and can tackle challenges as a key driver of change

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 8.6–17 million yen (Monthly Salary: 540,000–940,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluation)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above

・Flexible work hours
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may be required)

Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
