GU's MD has two roles: the "MD with Global Merchandise Division" is in charge of global business, product strategy and development, and the "MD" is in charge of local business strategy in each country.
This time, we are looking for an MD for the Global Merchandise Division.
Job Description
The MD is responsible for the planning, development, and production of original brand products with sales of billions of yen or more, and formulates guiding product, sales, and marketing plans in consultation with management and MD in each country.
The role of this position is to oversee and promote all aspects of GU's products, which is of utmost importance for GU to become the world's No.1 global brand.
The job description is subject to change in the scope of work related to each department of the headquarters as a result of departmental changes or reorganization.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge/Experience/Abilities
Experience as an apparel MD for more than 3 years.
Experience in leadership and management is welcome.
Leadership skills with the ability to drive and involve others to achieve goals and results.
Strong customer orientation, market orientation, and a focus on the essence of things.
Ability to make numerical judgments on all aspects (product trends, costs, etc.)

Annual salary
Annual salary range: 5.28 - 10.26 million yen (monthly salary: 330,000 - 570,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
(Not limited to the above, but will be determined based on our company's rules and regulations in consideration of annual salary and experience in previous jobs.
