■About the Department
・GU's MD roles consist of two functions: 'MDs attached to the Global Merchandising Division', responsible for global business and product strategy and overall development, and 'MDs' who drive local business strategies within each country's operations.
・This recruitment is for the Global Merchandising Division MD position.

■Job Description
・For each assigned brand, you will plan and develop original brand products with sales potential exceeding several billion yen. Collaborating with management and MDs in each market, you will formulate guiding product plans, sales plans, and marketing strategies.
・You will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving all aspects of merchandise—the most vital element for GU to become the world's leading global brand.
・Job responsibilities may change within the scope of tasks related to each division within the headquarters due to department transfers or organizational changes.

■Required Knowledge/Experience/Skills
・At least 3 years of experience as an apparel MD
・Leadership or management experience is a plus

・Numerical judgment skills across all aspects (product trends, costs)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: ¥5.28 million to ¥10.26 million (Monthly Salary: ¥330,000 to ¥570,000)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (※All based on company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (Payment and amount determined based on company performance and personnel evaluation)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluation)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account previous annual income and experience, not limited to the above.

■Working Hours
Flextime system or managerial/supervisory position
・Flextime system
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours, Break: 1 hour
Core time: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Flexible hours: 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

・Supervisory Staff
Based on the working hours of the assigned department, determined by the employee

Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are workdays) Annual paid leave, special/bereavement leave, childcare/nursing care leave systems, etc.
※Special leave granted in the first and second halves of the year, separate from paid leave (number of days varies by employment type and company)
