■About the Department
・GU’s MD roles consist of two positions: “MDs attached to the Global Merchandising Division,” who are responsible for global business and product strategies as well as overall development, and “MDs” who drive local business strategies within each country’s operations.
・This recruitment is for the MD attached to the Global Product Division.

■Job Description
・Each MD will be responsible for planning, developing, and producing original brand products representing sales of over several billion yen. Working in consultation with management and MDs in each country where the brand is sold, you will formulate guiding product plans, sales plans, and marketing plans.
・You will play a key role in overseeing and driving all aspects of product management—the most critical element for GU to become the world’s leading global brand.
・Job responsibilities may change depending on department transfers or organizational restructuring, within the scope of duties related to each department within the division.

■ Required Knowledge/Experience/Skills
・At least 3 years of experience as an MD in the apparel industry

・Ability to make data-driven decisions across all areas (product trends, costs)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 5.28–10.26 million yen (Monthly Salary: 330,000–570,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, in addition to the above.

Flexible work hours or managerial/supervisory position

Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

Based on the working hours of the employee’s department, with the decision left to the employee

Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
